The 1GHz processor with only 1MB of L2 is kinda weak, IDK how well that would handle Eve. Other than that the rest should be ok though.

I've been dual-boxing EVE on my laptop (sorry no specs) for over a year now. It actually runs great, only trouble I get is when one (or both) my toons are in Jita or when I join some lag-fest PvP battles.

And the whole CQ made my laptop a personal lap heater when they released it, luckely it's disabled now. (Yeah to ship spinning)

Went with this set up I believe it will do fine.

Processor 2nd Generation Intel® Core™ i5-2430M processor 2.40 GHz with Turbo Boost 2.0 up to 3.00 GHz I52430M

Memory 6GB Shared Dual Channel DDR3 Memory 6GB2D13

Monitor 15.6" High Definition (720p) LED Display with TrueLife™ WLED15

Video Card AMD Radeon™ HD 6470M (64-bit) 512MB (Dual) DI1290

Hard Drive 640GB 5400 RPM SATA Hard Drive

At least I hope this is good enough.

Im using a gateway gaming model laptop, a 7811fx, which has a nvidia gts9800 with 512mb dedicated video ram, a duo core centrino at 2.2 ghz... and I play eve fine on med settings. I ahve used 256mb video dedicated cards with 2-3 gig cpus and it just doesnt cut it... thought Id throw that in there for ya. I picked this laptop up for 600 bucks used. It has a 1920x1200 hdmi monitor too. the graphics are sick in eve, and this laptop gets me the near min performance.

I would defiantly suggest making sure any laptop that you plan to game on has a video card with dedicated memory.
