(Mac) Fitting lagg (crash) and icons

i havent played the game for around 5 month, and when i logged in, it wasnt a nice experience.

1 thing is the pretty common icon fuckup, where some icons looks like they are changed out with textures of gamemodels and some just random noice textures.....

the other, and most annoying was that every time i entered the fitting screen, before loading it up totally, (before my ship and fittings are shown, the client goes into a major lagg state, where my hole computer laggs out and forces me to restart, even if im in windowed mode, and is able to use the mouse.

have to say, in the start the fitting was just werry laggy, but now, its not even posible to enter it.

what ive tryed:

reinstalling eve 4 times.
forceing client repair.
checking for drivers.
clearing catch.

my macbook:
mid 2011 15"
2GHz Intel core i7 quad
16 gb DDR3
AMD Radeon HD 6490M
around 100gb free space

playing eve on steam.

I'm also having the problem. Loaded up the fitting screen in Diodoxie and the fitting screen lagged out and crashed out the computer several times. Interestingly i haven't had any problems with the fitting screen in Wormhole space.

I am having this issue currently since rubicon launched. It is killing my game play. Imac mid 2011 27"

i still have the problem, but sometimes, im able to open the fittings window, and sometimes, it laggs all the way out, if im on skype, i can still talk to my friends, but all interaction with the computer is gone, and will have to force quit the computer

Yep Fitting screen Freezes my comp and I'm forced to Restart the comp . Please Help

Try window mode of fixed window if they are an option in your client - I discovered tonight there seems to be a memory leak (VRAM) in fullscreen with the latest patch - when in station within 5 minutes all the VRAM is used up - not isolated if its down to the game client or the nVidia drivers I'm using yet but it produces similiar symptoms for me with incorrect rendering and lots of graphics lag.
