While the EVE Community may live and breathe carnage in New Eden, it's no secret that when it comes to supporting charity drives with CCP, our players always vastly exceed expectations and band together as an amazing force for good will.

We're happy to announce that on the request of the EVE Community, PLEX for GOOD has returned to assist with relief efforts after the devastating events in the Philippines.

Personally, I'm surprised that there's a surprise!

Jokes aside, I think this is awesome. I love the idea of an ingame reward costing CCP nothing more than a little bit of development time to encourage people to donate through you guys, and to maybe donate a few bucks more than they would normally. I'm sure the Icelandic Red Cross appreciates it too!

I wholehearthedly support this initiative!

I kindly remind the forum readers that since 2011 I have setup an ISK and PLEX (and whatever) charity whose only mission is to gather and later deliver the accrued donations to CCP, exactly during these initiatives.



Very glad to be able and say that EvE is the game where players can help RL just by playing!

Thank You CCP for doing this. I was born in the Philippines and currently living in the USA. This gesture from one of the games I love to play warms my heart. While me and my wifes family are all ok, I still feel sad for all those that have lost theirs. IRL we already did some fundraising to send out there, but seeing this from CCP just makes me happy that there are a lot of good people out there willing to help. I will be donating PLEXes to help out!! Once again thanks CCP from the bottom of my heart !!
