Price is bound to come down, same as the new destroyers when they came out, I sold a lot of them for 25mil each on the first day. High prices are relative to wallet size Blink

This. I don't know why anyone's confused at all. Many of us in US TZ's haven't gotten a chance to get home from work and get online yet.

If it's too expensive now, just wait until supply meets demand and prices settle. Don't complain about high prices until AT LEAST 24 hours after the item is released on TQ.

You're joking right? Lp store prices don't change because of supply/demand.

Don't be dense. LP store price is not the market price.

And that's what I pointed out.

These ships are actually very cheap right now compared to what else can be purchased and sold with SoE LP. Expect prices to rise, not fall.

You do know these prices have been known for well over a month? Maybe consider checking out the F&I forum, test server forum as well as log in on Sisi before it hits live?

Well although I do read the forums, it's tough to read EVERY post on EVERY topic.

But I understand the impulse to post negative comments that have ZERO value.... I do it all the time!

You're welcome. Just almost nobody seems to try to influence development, but loves to dislike what comes through.

that is such a funny statement...... and completely WRONG.!!!!

Everyone who posts as an OP tries to INFLUENCE Development, but idiots (not saying you're one) just bag on them as if they own the game and they should have known better than to try and change the sandbox or post in the first place.

Face it, the Player posted FORUM in general is a complete waste of EVERYONE's time and has no effect on the game at all.

The ONLY posts that make a difference if at all are the ones originated by a DEV.

We haven't even been through the first 24 hours of launch and you're worried about the price tag. Do what I'm doing...wait a bit. New stuff is always super psycho high priced when it's first released.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

Right now the LP conversion rate that the SoE ships are getting is way too high, it's definitely going to come down. Just look at the market and you'll see how fast it's coming down, I logged in earlier today and it went from 480mil down to 440mil in around an hour.

It's awesome for people who have lots of SoE LP though. Some people are just impatient and actually pay the inflated price. If I'm not mistaken one of the first few Stratios sold for 800million.

You're missing the fact that they were talking about market prices not LP prices.

Yes they are. 99.9% (repeating of course) of things are overpriced when they are first implemented in this game and nearly every other game in existence.

Probably way more. This night (euro night :P) I sold some Stratioses for 850M. That was hours after the server came up again, while eve-central.com reported them as for sale at 400M in Jita. Buyers could have saved 450M by doing about ten jumps or so.

Some people are just impatient, dumb or both.

Ah damn I shouldn't have sold in Jita I guess =P. I logged in about 2 hours after the patch hit and got only around 550+mil for my first Stratios.

Way overpriced for pvp, close to useless for exploration. Could be good at killing defenseless ships in Hi-sec wars.

Of course the focus is on the Cruiser which is currently the big ticket item. It will run its course and find a niche, probably in the 250Mil range, which will put it in the high range when compared to the other pirate cruisers. Its not a crappy ship and will prove to be very popular. I agree make hay while the sun shines. The price is in free fall.

Pay attention to the frigate. The FW folks are going to using these ships for plexing and they are a good alternative to the other versions. Look for the demand to stay high, as it is powerful as both an exploration platform and as a FW platform. While the price will come down, don't expect it to fall nearly as much as the cruisers.

You're implying in your post that some of the mission runners are stupid enough to pay 180,000 LP for 20m in minerals (counting the 10m isk cost of this option).

BPCs won't drag the price down, they ARE the price.

The BPC-buying guys are more numerous, but those who buy built ships exist. Yup.
