I actually do see the similarity, was chatting about it with a few folk in-game just the other day.
You do have to squint a bit, but I find as one passes by on undock or similar and you just get a quick glimpse, they do look a bit alike.

And really I think that was the point I was trying to convey, I didnt mean up close or docked up, but if you are undocking and see a noctis 20 km out it looks like Serenity :) also, Im glad so many firefly fans play EVE \o/

it may not have made alot of money by todays standards but the fans did force a movie to be made

First episode was kind of mediocre. Rest of the show is amazing and way better. Give it another shot.


Back to OP, I don't see the relation at all. If I had to think of a ship that resembled it, the closest thing is the Minmatar probe.
