Rubicon install workarounds

Two things:

CCP has a workaround here: CCP's Workaround

For those who still fail with the launcher or don't use it:

1) Run repair.exe in your [OS install path]/CCP/EVE directory - it will fail, repeatedly - so only once is necessary.

2) Remove all the ".PATCH" files (disk space back, yeah!)

3) Run repair.exe again - runs in a few seconds.

Yeah, he's right, but hopefully this thread can hang here for a while to ease the pain.

my problem was, again, eset nod32 and protocol filtering.

disabled and it works.

must say, disabling protection for 4 hours didnt help, I had to disable protocol filtering

I was going to let this fade off into forum wild blue, but have heard of people still having launcher issues
