I lived in Heyd in my first few weeks with my first and only real corp. Good times. In my day Heyd was a quiet system where all a carebear corp needed to do to survive was make a deal with the local pirates. We mined, they didn't shoot us. Life was good. Then faction warfare came. Now Heyd is just hordes of retards flying through in faction frigates. Well, at least I have an excuse to see my old home, as I fly through in my faction frigate.

The pirates are the gatecampers who loot ships mostly. and the ones who shoot any ship they can, ransoms, etc. not really a roleplaying community.. just an EVE job thats actually fun

I go to low sec once a week, to collect items I've bought in region wide buy orders. Nowadays you don't need to go in a blockade runner or anything like that just because there will be no gatecamps, most of the low sec residents are either:

1) Cyno Alts;

2) Scouts for the traders;

3) Mission runners and carebears in general that will stay afk docked until local only show him, his scout and his Alt; and

4) PI Alts, but they will only log for 5 minutes each 3 days, not that residents we could say.

In fact, I can feel safer in low sec than in high sec, there is one thing you will never find there: the gank squads.Pirate

There are, indeed, some pirates that roam here and there but these ones are so rare that you can consider yourself lucky if you see one, I do think there are some reproduction in captivity projects that are focused in the reintroduction of these species to the wild.

Resuming: Low sec, if you want some life quality, go live there. Cool

If your balls are hurt and bleeding don't sit in a pool full of piranhas (note to myself: don't complain in GD)

I went to lowsec once. Exploration. Then I realized that there is no more money to be made there because of a lack of sites, and what exist in those sites are worthless.

So now I live in lowsec, but only so I can pick on nullbears.

I go there on two occasions.
1) When I really need to be in high sec and there isn't a wormhole chain leading from null to high and
2) When I need to get into the wormhole I do PI in, because it has a lowsec static

Outside the FW areas low sec is a wasteland with very little amount of isk and hardly any ppl or so called pirates. Its like one of those post-apocalyptic movies where you see only metal trash heaps everywhere and that half mad guy with eyepatch and uzi in one hand and a bottle of vodka in then other, riding his homemade motorcycle made from some wheel chair and a tractor engine while laughing and saying ******** things for no reason
