found my way onto the EVE test server thanks to some useful friends, but the issue is, whenever i see people and their videos of being on the test server they have these titans and dreadnoughts and such, and i highly doubt they spend almost a year or so getting money and skills and such to fly these things, so the question is, how do i get the money and faster skill training so i can jump into the fun? when i logged on i was just a plain naked rookie. if anyone can help, please do.

Yes people do spend years getting good in their capital ships.

the Test server is mirrored off of their main server accounts every few months, the people you see flying their carriers, dreads and titans on there can also fly them on tranquility. It all just comes with time.

My advice? Don't worry about it, you can have just as much fun with 1M SP as you can with 100M SP, just update your queue with what you want to train and forget about it.

If your question was aimed at why you didn't have your tranquility skills on the test server that's most likely because your account was created shortly after the last mirror.

This is a terrible thread. As such, it's locked. - CCP Falcon

2 things:

Everything on SiSi costs 100ISK so money isn't an issue.

About skills:

The test server is randomly mirrored to TQ, so they don't skill mainly on sisi, they skill on TQ and have their skills ported to SiSi.

Also, from time to time there are "test events" on SiSi and everyone who participates gets a few millions bonus SP.
I believe you do lose them on the next mirroring, but for a time it allows you to experiment with new stuff.

Well you get free SP if you participate in scheduled masstests that you can play around with, testing skills and stuff.

And while those 'test skills' are wiped at the next mirror you'll get the free SP for the last 5 tests back so you can continue to play with stuff.

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

The way you phrased your question speaks volumes about your mindset.

You "get good", by playing the game increasing your player skill, and to a lesser extent training character skills.

The test server, as already mentioned, does not give your infinite skill points. Everything is very very cheap, but you will still be limited by the SP of your character on tranquility.

How to make infinite ISK on SiSi:

1. If you are not currently in a ship, buy the largest ship you can pilot for 100 ISK.
2. If you have the ISK, platinum insure the ship.
3. Undock.
4. Self-destruct. [I recommend moving away from the undock during the countdown, so as to not clutter the area.]
5. Repeat from step 1 if you want more ISK.
