Give boosts to mining yield in lowsec.

What and why:

Make the miners wanna try to risk it for a much better profit

Will populate lowsec.

Just put noxcium in lowsec only, then the market will sort out the correct risk/reward.

They did this recently. I guess you didn't notice. Maybe that's because it didn't work.

There's already way better ores in low than high. One jump in you get wasted real quick, three or four in you get wasted eventually, undocks become graveyards and if you put up a pos suddenly dreadnaught.
In some ways low is a shallow null, if you're connected you can get big stuff done, otherwise you creep around scratchin up crumbs.

Game mechanic and Pirates are responsible for this situation, people want more targets in low sec and at same time they make low sec empty.

We players make this game like it is.

You can even put mexorcite on belts but you wont increase population by this way.

Btw. Grab your guns, and shot real targets instead of miners.

If it bleed we can kill it.

At some point, if you sufficiently starve hi sec and null sec of minerals, it will be worthwhile mining in lowsec. The rest of the economy will die a horrible death, but lowsec miners will actually exist.

If people didn't shoot miners then the people that make mining barges would be out of business.
If people didn't gank haulers the people that build those would be out of business.
Blowing up spaceships is the driver for the whole economy and without it the need for miners would have passed many many years ago.
The people ganking your barge are the people that make mining possible.
You should thank them next time.

This basically if your not connected you will get blown up the pirates would be so excited about seeing a miner, they'd need to change pants.

changing the ores isn't going to work either people will just mine what they can in the relative safety, compared to lowsec, and if they want to build stuff, buy what they need.

The problem with removing nocx or even iso from empire will be building will pretty much die out. You will create a thing were a few alliance/corps will have access to these minerals + the zyd and mega because they are connected and PC building of ships, ammo etc will die out because nobody will be able to A. get into low and null because pirates and alliances will just blow non-blues up and B. be able to afford the minerals they need to build the ships and things

So completely agree with the above quote and basically forget tampering with anything. 'fixing' the problem of null being empty is not going to happen, at least not without massive changes, a little buff to mining will not get people to come to low, as said elsewhere in this thread a blown up ship mines no ores, more or less

In all seriousness though, you can't make miners go into low. They just won't do it. Even if you gave their barges zero-cooldown doomsday weapons, the ability to deploy ten 400%-bonused sentry drones and as many QA Mega Modules as they wanted, miners would not go to low.

It's too dangerous to AFK mine or use ISBotter.

Those with power should be able to make isk....who cares about a solo miner or all the small we do everything corps. Want to make isk in low sec? Team up with pvpers it realy does work.
