Hey, y'all sound like a fun bunch of peeps. I've had this character for a long time but have not spent a lot of time on him, 4M skill points right now, and they are a bit of a mess. Currently running missions and planning out for an Ishtar, a bit confused and overwhelmed as to what to do short-term. I will most likely do a bit of PLEX financing as opposed to grinding out ISK, as I want to be able to make the most of a limited play schedule. Let me know if you guys are interested and I will look you up ingame.

I would say 4mil is a little low bud, I would look at some Faction Warefare, get that experience and build the skill points up.

So what would be considered not "a little low?" It's not like I can suddenly put in a lot of effort and get more SP, lol. Everyone tells me that I should join a nullsec corp to play this game the way it's meant to be played / avoid losing interest, what's the point of spending months afk / PvE and training God-knows-if-they-will-be-useful-later skills in the meantime?

Also, word on the street is that FW is teh suck right now... Ugh

You are going to want to be at least 10mil for 0.0, and also around 10mil for most low sec corps. With your skills focus around one type of good pvp ship at this stage. Basically build up for armor or shield, weapons it uses then the ship itself.

As for really playing the game you don't need to be in 0.0. in my view, there are less skilled toons in 0.0 when compared to low sec as they can just bring qty over quality to a fight.

Plus me personally find large fleet fights boring when compared to fighting a 25+ man gang vs an organised 7 man gang.

FW does suck I agree, but what it does is gives you the basic understanding of PVP and roaming. There are many good FW corps out there that will help you train and gain the experience in pvp roaming

Thanks for the feedback. If I were to train towards a specific objective right now, should I go straight for sentry Ishtar or do a Gunnery drive-by to outfit a pulse navy omen? The way I see it, the latter plan takes me 21 days out of the way towards the ultimate goal, but it also gives me more options along the way. What do you think, and what would be more beneficial for a corp such as your own?
