And you are not getting that my gripe has zero to do with wh's and with the refining array in general, which is utterly useless.[/quote]

I did not ignore it I am saying that the Rorquel is the answer to the wh refining issue. You can compress multiple ores at one time many of those ores are even smaller that the mineral contained in them and once you take it to the hi sec station you can refine at 100 % bringing it back only assumes you want to build in wh you can also build or sell the mineral outright in hi sec. I am just explaining that the refinery array is obsolete once you have that ship and a non issue.

still doesn't change the fact the refining array is useless though ;)

closing the statics is a nice way to be safe now. You can completely isolate yourself in a wh now, and be notified when a new sig pops in, via the new mechanics with the system scanner. This means you have some level of safety if you have the scanner window up and are watching for new sigs.

Read this often, but don't really understand that. Except you are using a Macro, which is not allowed officially I have following problems with the Scanner.
It doesn't update often enough and sometimes not even once. When I change the wormhole system it often doesn't updates, instead I have to open System map to see the current anoms and signatures. Same in my home system.

So please explain how is it exactly working, that "you will be notified" about new signatures.

Ideally, if someone in their wh scans their static wh out, and it connects to yours, when they warp to the wh, it pops up a sig on the other side, last time I checked. This means, if you scan your system daily, after dt, archive the sigs, and someones scans into your wh within that 24 hr time before the next dt, you will see a new sig in the scanner result window. this will also have a different sig pattern from the rest of the sigs. So as long as you were watching, youd potentially know someone scanned their way to your wh. It could also mean that randomly, a dynamic wh spawned in your system. there are static and dynamic whs... iirc. It could be a relic site too... Either way, you should be notified via the scanner window.

To note: My scanner window has some faults too. for example, when I jump to a new system, some times it will not update the new sigs... and I have to un tick the show anoms ticker, and re tick it... then it updates. but I do get the data from the scanner window.

Unless someone was already in your wh, cloaked up for weeks...etc, with a force or fleet, you can be "safe" in wh space.

Keep in mind to take "safe" with a grain of salt. No space is safe in EvE. I am not actually claiming nothing will ever happen to you in wh space, so go fly solo tier 3 bs in a c5 with no wh scouts, scanners, alts online ready t o assist if you DO find out otherwise.
