Maybe if you took time to consider how becoming a chick would influence your internet spaceship life we wouldn't be having this issue.

it sounds like a fairly tricky situation to be honest. You cant just not tell people and let them make their own minds up, as it just makes it weirder, as the truth is people will be wondering if you're a bloke or not, especially if you have a "femmish" voice as you say on the post. Personally im pretty accepting and wouldnt really give a ****, but if i was unsure, obviously discussion would occur in your absence....

I would be very surprised if you couldnt find a corp in eve with people mature enough for it to really not bother them, the problem is the forums are definitely not home to that type of player as this thread has clearly demonstrated. I'm fairly sure the average age of EVE players has halved in the last 5-6 years so again this won't help your troubles.

People like Eukaryotic who posted before seem to be the growing trend now as the developers continue to market EVE as a more simple and straight forward game, renaming many aspects so younger children, converts from WoW and people of lesser mental ability like him can follow it easily, whereas 5 years ago he would have just felt lost, confused and been the one to get ostracised. Sadly though, it doesnt bode well going forward....

I ran a corp once. And there was a he/she in it. The he/she was offended by every sexist joke made towards women but sexism towards men was ok. If you're gonna be a he/she don't be so stupid as too be offended by women jokes but not men jokes. That's like white Michael Jackson supporting racism towards blacks.

Morale of the story if you have a she wee but don't want people being mean cuz you're a he/she don't make a huge deal of it and put your she wee in everyone's face.
