Honestly, I've been rather lax on my eve playing over the last year. Doing nothing more than training and even contemplating just letting my account lapse.

However, I just got done reading the torrent of dev blogs you guys are putting out and while also looking at some of the vids from SiSi...


Color me intrigued CCP...

I like what they are doing now. Not focused on bringing in yet another new feature but expanding on the old "" features.

Seeing missing shots, aaimaai!
And I cannot wait to undock in new nebula. Big smile

raised eyebrow here too, and sisi is looking amazing. Crucible updates are lookin crisp (here).

I'm keeping an eye on their youtube channel for Crucible trailer...Arrow hopefully soon.


good stuff so far on Sisi. Nov 29th is going to be a refreshing day for EVE. hopefully no problems.

I am in the same boat...Just doing training and 7-day slow processing of P1 stuff.

Now with all the changes coming, what I will really be watching is a few things:


  • How successful was the release -- meaning, was downtime longer then normally planned for this large of a release.
  • how buggy are the new features?
  • did they break other stuff that shouldn't have been broken?
  • how many weeks (if any) does it take them to patch the broken parts of this release -- example: they break the cargo hold when docking, upwards of a month to fix correctly.
  • is Crucible a one-time band-aid to pacify us or will we see this continuing effort for more then just this expansion?


If things go well, when my subscriptions are up at the end of Feb and CCPs track record HAS improved, I'll resub...If not, even with this great promising release, I'll let it elapse.

I NEVER realized how immersion breaking this "shots never miss" thing was until I saw this. Having shots miss you when you make a sharp turn is absolutely ******* phenomenal looking.

And engine trails, it's been SO MANY years. God I missed you so.

Last but CERTAINLY not least. New nebulas make the game look completly new, and that new warp effect is RIDICULOUS.

CCP, how long have you been sitting on this ****?
