Jezus...instead of complaining how the ship looks, zoom out abit and problem fixed! Besides i doubt anyone pvp's with the image fully zoomed in on the ship.

Just because i am blond does not make me stoopid !

Speak for yourself. Also have you considered the mass balance of the ship, or its aerodynamicity? Completely unusable.

I keep saying this but...

For inertiaa, the mass distribution needs to be symetrical along a rotation axis. For 3d objects, symmetry along any two of the three axis is sufficient. Pleasedon't leave the malediction lopsided. It looks bad and its bad design for a high sppeed, high maneuvreability ships. The crow is even more horrible.

Fix please, give it two hardpoints with a bigger bonus or give it 4 with a smaller bonus. Don't lopside it!

On a related note, many other ships suffer this same issue.

Not even required! The current (TQ) Malediction still only has 3 rocket launchers, but because there are 4 high slots, they can be shuffled around to where they're symmetrical (slots 1, 3, and 4 I think). Just make Rubicon use those and disaster and Eve dying is averted.

Ccp pls

Release is looming over our heads, and the Malediction is not fixed. Why don't CCP pay attention to important issues?

Since the unfortunate oversight I have found it much more difficult to orbit ships in a clock-wise rotation due to the new mass distribution of the ship.

This makes my ships behavior in combat much more predictable and puts me in harms way to a completely unnecessary degree.

For the love of god, don't force people to pilot these (now) death traps. I've had to write 43 "Condolences on the death of your son" letters to my own mother since this travesty began.

THINK OF THE MOTHERS!!!

I wouldn't be stockpiling them in lowsec if I didn't intend to fly them. Heck, I wouldn't even care about their balance if I didn't intend to fly them. Unfortunately it looks like I will have to find a different interceptor to use, since the Malediction is just hopelessly broken now.

I agree with the issue about the hardpoints, but if we're focusing on looks, the Malediction was already ruined in Inferno.

These are pre-Inferno:

Not just the Malediciton; all the shiny Amarr ships lost their shine and stopped reflecting different colours.

Anathema pre-Inferno:

Anathema now:

As tongue-in-cheek as the OP is, I strongly agree with concerns about ship appearances. For some people, what looks cool is one of the big reasons for playing. For me, they may as well have deleted the Anathema and Malediction from the game after Inferno; they once looked awesomesauce.

as a proud Amarrian it pains me to see our glorious ships so unbalanced and lack of shine. this is what happens when slaves gets uppity and start thinking of revolt instead of shining my ships and making sure the hardpoints are correctly aligned.

now i have to execute every one of them.

and trust me, my hand will hurt from that! but no one seems to think of MY pain.

sighs.

I hesitate to ask why it's only going to hurt one hand.

Anyway, you guys were pretty good about fixing the shaders on the Damnation so I have hope for this problem being fixed as well.

Though a "We'll take a look at it" or a "due to the way ships work internally we can't fix it" would be lovely too. I mean, this may seem like a joke thread but we're all quite serious in here.

Source? It's not in any patch notes and I didn't see it mentioned anywhere.
