I'll cut to the chase - copy contract cannot split stacks. Therefore one of the biggest potential uses for the function (Making a package deal of a ship + associated modules) isn't doable on even a medium scale.

Now, I know that the game does have the ability to split stacks. The saved fit function will pull modules from a stack to fit your ship. It would be a great boon to logistics on both the large and small scale if that ability could be applied to the contract system.
