This post is primarily to seek feedback from those who might be mildly interested in the ideas i have.

Having been in eve for just a few months, I find myself in the position where i would like to consider starting up a Corp. Eve is clearly a large, complicated and often confusing game, but that said I enjoy the experience of learning it and experiencing new environments.

The majority opinion would be 'join an established corps' and I can quite see the sense in that, however sometimes I feel the fun is taken out of the game a little and obviously not intentionally by veteran Evites who are on hand to 'spoon-feed' you and tell you 'oh this is the best', ' o get that ship' , 'get those skills'.

Maybe that's a good thing, but for me and possibly the 'glutton for punishment side of me' - would like to find out for myself by trial and error, mistakes will be made I am sure. Thats not to say research won;t be done or questions not asked.

I know too that there are plenty of gamers out there who take pleasure in targetting and destroying small corps for nothing more than their childish amusement however 'thems' the risks you take'

However I would like to hear from those be they new to Eve or maybe returning players, and maybe 1 or 2 experienced but casual players who might be interested in starting and joining a corp afresh.

I would like to start down the line of a mining and refinement corp, slowly setting achievable goals and developing growth before gently branching out into other areas of the game, mission running, exploration, pve, pvp and so forth and would like people who are keen to either develop as a specialist or conversely would liketo be a Jack of all trades.

I am a long-term mmo gamer but who is now settled with a family and so understand the importance and impact that Real Life commitments and the time that children/work/studies can have. So I want to provide a casual but structured playing environment. Ops will be run but will try to account for these factors and no undue pressure will be placed on members to attend, but if you can the great.

You should therefore be a mature gamer, preferably from the UK time zone but EU is ok as well. I am not seeking to exclude other time zones however I am trying to plan around when I am most likely to be able to organise events. Family orientated members more than welcome, but if you are a fun mature player whatever your background you're more than welcome.

(Non pushy anti-drama types with good humour preffered!!)

The only stipulation would be that it would be beneficial for members to be on team-speak as experience has shown that communicating with your fellow members makes for a more fun and enjoyable game so don;t be shy, even if you are only able to listen that is better than being a distant silent member who doesn't contribute. Obviously a decent level of English is therefore desired.

I welcome interest from anyone that this might appeal to and would be pleased to hear from you.

Disclaimer: This might well be a terrible idea hence I am seeking opinion. Unnecessary flaming is yawn/tedious/not clever anymore/for angry teenagers who weren't loved enough, delete where appropriate.

You'll be taking on a lot of work if you want to do it well, but go for it as you'll never know until you try.

If you're going to base out of Amarr space then I may be able to help you for a while though I am a bit restricted for time atm due to work
