Mass test on Singularity on Friday, 8th November, at 17:00 UTC

Hi Caspuleers!
We are planning a mass test on Singularity on Friday, November 8th at 17:00 UTC ( EVE time).
It's a little different from the usual POS bash, so please read on.

What exactly is being tested?
  • Test client and server performance in Rubicon
  • Test Tech 3 Subsystem fitting in space.
  • Testing SMA wrecks and loot drops

    • How to connect to Singularity for this test:
    Read the Instructions at http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Singularity and read general instructions about mass tests at http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Mass_testing.
    Join the in-game channel "MassTesting" for Fleet 1
    Join the in-game channel "MassTesting2" for Fleet 2

    And onto the test steps:

    Fleet 1 (SMA Defense Fleet - CCP Lebowski)

    1. Meet in FD-MLJ at the gate to X-BV98
    2. Jump to X-BV98
    3. Align to planet 1
    4. Warps to POS beacon
    5. Wait here for Fleet 2. (If there are
    6. Defend against Fleet 2 once they arrive (their target is first the SMAs)

    Fleet 2 (The T3 fleet - CCP Paradox)

    1. Meet in Poitot at the gate to X-BV98
    2. Jump to X-BV98
    3. Warp to planet 1
    4. Switch subsystems with the provided Orca(s)
    5. Align to the POS beacon
    6. Warp to POS beacon.
    7. Immediately open fire on SMAs
    8. Once all SMAs are down, target CCP Lebowski who is in a Titan.


    What else should I know?
    We will be moving players to the test systems - join the channel massmoveme (for FD-MLJ) and the channel massmoveme2 (for Poitot)
    There will be a distinct focus on Tech 3 ships. If you are able to fly one, please bring it along.
    All other ships are welcome however.

    And that's not all!
    Super Awesome CCP Paradox Special:
    (At least) Double the usual skill points will be awarded on Singularity for this mass test to all T3 pilots who die. If the average of T3 pilots died more than once, I may raise it further.
    (To provide adequate compensation for skill point loss from T3 destruction.)

    That's not going to give you more SP btw. (But I mean, you could go in without any modules fitted if you were so apathetic to the test)

    I'm only suggesting self destructing after the other testing steps have been completed. I hardly consider this apathetic.

    No, the extra SP for T3 losses will not be applied to other mirrors (as it is meant to cover for skill losses) - but the current mirror is still quite young. Blink

    For those, who really want to die in the T3 and survived the mass test without scratch: I'm sure, that we can organize some nice overpowered smartbombs after CCP Lebowski is down. Pirate

    I wish the mirror wasn't young :'( (Got a new char right after the mirror, so really missed on that)

    And the smartbomb sounds like fun. Looking forward to freezing my screen for 5 minutes :D
