What's with the level 2 Blockade Mission?
Hard as heck for a level 2. I'm having to warp out with a battlecruiser.
Every time I launch my drones, the NPC switch targets from me to them and waste them so the drones are useless.
Any advice?

What ship are you using? If it's a gunboat, fit an afterburner to lower transversal and kill the frigates with guns, if it's a missile boat use target painters/precision missiles to take them out, if it's a droneboat you should only release light drones on frigate when they are closer than 15km.

Probably the reason you're having to warp out with a BC is that you shot all the triggers and spawned the entire room which makes it very difficult to tank, if all fails. Wait for DT for the mission to reset.

I'm flying a Gnosis with thermal and kinetic hardeners since its Guristas pirates and getting 81% resists.
They appear in waves so I don't think aggro is the problem.
At first I was getting perma jammed by frigates so I fitted 4 sensor backups.
Now they attack my drones the second I launch them. Is this a new NPC feature? Don't remember them doing this, though I've been away for a bit.

Yeah it's a new feature, drones now get aggro from NPCs even after they have aggroed you (NPCs can switch targets). When you say sensor backups I hope you mean ECCM modules, which is what is used to counter ECM Jamming, and 4 is definitely overkill, 2 should be more than enough.

Gnosis gets drone bonuses so you shouldn't have that much problem with drone aggro, your drones should be able to kill them before dying and if the aggro gets too bad you can pull them in quickly to reset the aggro and deploy them again. Also you have the option of fitting launchers/turrets in your highslots that you can use to kill the NPCs that are aggroing your drones.

I have a feeling the problem lies in either your fit or your skills, post your fit here and give us a rough idea of your skills.

I've run L2 Blockade a few times before and I honestly believe that it should be an L3 mission. The difficulty level of that mission is greater than some L3 combats.

EDIT: Your toon is only 2 days old, you are not proficient at flying a Battlecruiser. I also personally do not like the Gnosis. It can do a lot of different things, and b/c of that it has no specialty. This makes it mediocre at everything. You're better off in a cruiser than a Gnosis.

I did L2 Blockade with a Caracal when I was a young character, Guristas/Serpentis was brutal due to jamming/damping but with some piloting, careful trigger/aggro management I was able to do it just fine.

Just a forum posting alt. Toon is about 3 month old.
I did manage to finish the mission after a couple of warp outs and whittling them down. Just amazed at the dps of the NPC waves though. Thought it would be a walk in the park with a battlecruiser but laughs on me.

shoulda used rapid lights

shoulda used real bc

maybe use some auto targeting missiles if jammed a lot, but then you can not control the triggers, so it is a toss up between do or don't
