Terrible Character Select on EVE Gate

Whats with the new and utterly awfull charcter select screen on EVE gate, i now have to scroll down through loads of oversized and useless info for no reason at all.

That really looks awful. Can it be a botched attempt to make character selection screen similar to what we will get in Rubicon? 3 characters side by side would be nice, this is terrible.

Thats what i thought at first but the rubicon select screen is vastly different, this is just a mess.

It looks like someone forgot to update all the files for that page as no formatting at all is applied right now.

It's not a redesign failure; it's a forgot-to-upload-the-css-files failure.

I hope it's just a missed stylesheet.

It doesn't look like CCP's normal quality of styling, so I'm sure it wont be like that for long.

There is more mischief going on with forums layouts. Signatures are missing, buttons cancel/post/preview are almost centered instead of aligned to right as they used to, for quick reply post button is almost at bottom edge of textarea instead of having nice margin, threads with dev posts in them have bold text "jump to first dev post" hyperlink...

They probably broke the rest while trying to fix the signatures.

Nothing better than hot editing a live system.

Could you try and see if you have time to look into the mesh up on the profile screen too if you use safari?
That bug is only 6-8 month's old.

additional suggestions: do something, *anything* with eve gate?

I mean did this initiative die with first release?

- ability to use chat channels
- ability to tweak market orders
- ability to import/export personal/corp/alliance level standings to XML or spreadsheet format
- ability to forward in-game mail to a real mail client

just a few suggestions.
