It appears a new wormhole phenomenon may have been detected. Whether this is artificial or natural, additional data may provide us with a better understanding of the incident that caused the opening of wormholes throughout New Eden, or hopefully of Nation wormhole generation technology.

As PRIAN and the Ishuk-Raata Enforcement Directive have assets in Syndicate, I'll be conducting a survey of the constellation in question within the next six to twelve hours, and will release any additional information as I acquire it.

My suspicion, though, is that this event will leave no lasting signature, and that we will be unable to learn more until the Servant Sisters or Intaki Space Police release more details.

The Intaki needs an editor.

As for the news, vaguely interesting but needs a lot more data to be properly intriguing.

I Suspect This may be the Test-Firing of an Anti-Gallente Wonderweapon.

Several Persons have stated things about working on a Wormhole Weapon. Some of these persons wished to Deploy such Weapons against the Planet of Gallente Prime.

Therefore, I am Concerned that the apparent Similarity to a Wormhole Collapse, and the Artificial Nature of some aspects of this Mysterious Explosion, means that it is indeed a Test of a New Form of Previously Unknown Weapon.

I can confirm that aid has been sent to the YFN-UN constellation under the command of Provisionary Shōshō Makoto Priano.

An Ishuk-Raata delegation has arrived in Poitot this afternoon to discuss cooperation with Intaki Syndicate authorities on investigation and assistance.

More information will follow as we get it.

Just some drunk nullsec pilot accidentally discharged a doomsday. What would you expect?

A doomsday powerful enough to register across a constellation, and yet be vague enough not to be pinpointed.
Would not expect that, and if it were the case, would most certainly want investigation.

I too have traveled to the constellation to see if I could help with any research or even aid. So far it is quiet.

Interesting. I had only just left Syndicate before this event was reported, returning from a meeting with several regional leaders.
I'll be heading back out there shortly to perform my own analysis, I would appreciate the opportunity to work cooperatively with any other capsuleer assets in the area.

It is best that any and all operations occur on friendly terms for the best of the Syndicate Stations and for cluster security, should this turn out to be a threat to us all.

As of about 30 minutes ago, I completed a core scan (with some light combat scanning) of the constellation and found nothing out of the ordinary. The highlights were a Class 3 and two Class 5 wormholes and a wormhole leading to another part of Syndicate (a system which contained a Class 5), but I've always been wary of blindly jumping into the deep unknown.

Blanking signatures doesn't seem to work, so this is here.

An interesting occurrence I await more news on the subject, I wonder if is a new type of wormhole, though with all the pirates out there it could just be some dangerous experiment gone wrong. Who knows what there getting up to in there laboratories.

What do you know, maybe the Federation has taken Intaki too lightly all this time.

Mind sharing some of those signature IDs? I'm not afraid of hopping into some C5 space. I'm very interested in seeing where this explosion originated.

Never mind, I came on down personally and investigated. I shared my data here. Hope it helps the inhabitants of Syndicate figure out what's going on in their backyard.

An associate completed a survey of the constellation at approximately 0500 hours. While there was a capsuleer patrol, the usual Serpentis presence, and several Serpentis facilities that had been attacked, these all seemed to correspond with normal activity. The only wormholes of note at that time were in NG-C6Y and neighboring XYY-IA, where signature PAE-557 was a class N432 wormhole leading to wormhole system J141615, presently unoccupied. Additionally, signature XSG-510 was a class S199 wormhole leading to another Syndicate system, EF-F36. In XYY-IA, signature VVP-183 was a class N432 wormhole to J113636, a Capsuleer-occupied system. No aberrant signatures or unexplained celestial phenomena appeared on scans. Given that no K162 class wormhole was in the area, I'd surmise that any detonation didn't originate from wormhole space, but was instead from sources already present in Syndicate.

Due to time constraints, additional investigation of the J141615 system wasn't undertaken; I feel this may have been fruitful, as it had no capsuleer presence and a high level of signature activity.

We've initiated contact with the Servant Sisters of EVE and the Intaki Syndicate to ascertain what food and medical aid may be needed, and to solicit more information for investigation.

Supplementary scans provided by the ISODE Exploration Ship Nureal can corroborate the evidence collected by Captains Priano and Jormagdnir. While our sweeps did not go so far as to probe signatures found in wormhole space itself, rather opting to search for evidence of what eventuated in K-Space, we can also announce at this time that no unusual data has been picked up by our instruments.

The Nureal will remain in Syndicate territory for some time further and we will continue occasional sensor passes of points of interest. We have also elected to transmit openly on the Fluid network on the off chance that we can establish communication with whoever, or whatever, was responsible for the noted readings.

We hope that all entities involved in this affair join ISODE and our fellow first responders in sharing data and approaching this matter with an open and alturistic mind.

Mr. Thiesant, Alex told me you were in the area. I'll copy you with any unclassified information I receive from the Sisters or Syndicate.

Also, I heard that Eran Mintor of Esoteric Philosophy was in 8V-SJJ doing an eyes-on search of celestial objects. If there's anything that doesn't give a signature reading that our probes are programmed to detect, or if there's something that doesn't normally show up on directional scan, he'll hopefully find it.

I wonder: there's that static Sansha wormhole near the EVE Gate, several systems away. Does that show up on directional scans? Maker, I'm realizing-- even normal wormholes don't show up on directional scan, do they?

I'm going to have Alex do a more thorough search of the celestials, in case Mr. Mintor hasn't completed his survey.

Just hypothesising but this really could be a rare natural wormhole phenomenon. Maybe a wormhole opened to close to a star or a black hole. I know we like to jump to conclusions but every investigation so far has turned up the same results, nothing. I am going to stay around the consetallation a little longer just to double check my own results.
This doesn't mean we shouldn't remain vigilant however.

Without yet seeing the data of Drs. Prinz and Mitara, I would only surmise thusfar that the presense of prominent Gamma-class EM radiation in the absence of a stellar object suggests to me particle annihilation, making natural occurence exceedingly unlikely in my view.

More details could certainly change my mind, and if so, would lead to a far more interesting scenario.

Trust me I am not ruling out this could be a man made explosion of some kind. If its a natural event it will be fascinating, if it is and artificially created one that is terrifying.
