Epic Arc Rewards Question for Devs

Is there any particular reason that the Amarr Epic Arc missions pay out 1/20th in many cases what the Caldari Epic Arc missions pay out for rewards?

It didn't take long to locate the tracking beacon, deep inside the quarters for sleepin' They thought they could get away Not today, it's not the way that this kid plays

Probably the same reason the Caldari Cosmos Missions pay out ~10 Billion on the gallente Cosmos missions pay out ~2 Billion (and the caldari cosmos takes about 1/8th the time to run)

CCP has never made any attempt to balance the "story like" missions between the factions. That is not necessarily a bad thing either. It would be annoying if the missions were exactly the same . . .

No the Caldari Cosmos Arc can be 10 bil. The epic arc is similar to amarr (Give or take 100mil)

Things that keep me up at night;  Why do we use a voice communication device to send telegraphs? Moore's Law should state, Once you have paid off the last PC upgrade you will need another.

No one is asking for the missions to be exactly the same. But the level of compensation is totally out of whack.

Like, I am running it, and wondering why I am even bothering after running the Caldari Epic Arc two weeks ago.

Epic arcs are for standings mainly IMO. The cash/item rewards are a bonus. Amarr has a bad bonus because Amarr is bad.

I agree, the Epic Arcs main reward is all about gaining Faction standings, same with the Cosmos Agents. The ISK / Module / BPC rewards are secondary.

So basically, no decent answer except randoms posting their opinions.

The title says "for devs" and we get nobodies from around Eve trying to talk about something they cannot possibly know the answer to.

You started a thread on a public forum and then expect Devs to fall over themselves to answer your question immediately and you put down people trying to give decent suggestions to your question.

If you didn't want to hear anybodys opinion then don't post here, find a way to get into direct contact with Devs or GTFO.

Devs picked reward items that are all significantly different and somewhat in the flavor of the respective race. Its up to the players to decide what those are worth through the forces of supply and demand. Turns out lots of people like running the amarr epic arc a lot more than they like plugging in the implant rewards, despite the fact that anyone can take 2 minutes to see the rewards and their market value. That said the amarr rewards don't look too terrible compared to say the Gallente ones. If you think the Amarr rewards suck, that's more of a statement than a question for the devs. And if you think you're wasting your time, well that's your problem, its not like the rewards were a secret.
