Why are standard Mjonir Cruise missiles twice as expensive as Scourge.?

I checked in Amarr and and I checked in Jita. Funny thing is you use to be able to get a cheaper price in Jita now amarr has the cheaper prices.

I had the idea to haul 100000 Mjonirs and scourges to my mains mission hub.

Well don't know why CCP would make EM missiles more expensive.

Yeah, because this here is the problem. This is stunning new proof of incomprehensible and inconsistent game design choices within eve online that calls into question all we know about CCP being competent. Mjolnir missile prices need immediate attention! Have you played eve before?

You can probably still make some ISKies on that... mission runners have been known to buy 50,000 or 100,000 missiles at a time just to "stock up" for a few days of grinding.

Give it a try and if nothing else, you will get some valuable experience in the market.

Because once upon time EM missiles were considered to be awesome because everyone shield tanked, they use to be called paradise cruise missiles and still have "The mother of all missiles" in their description, so this justified their more expensive build costs.

The same happens to T2 missiles, and to be honest the manufacturing cost is the same for all damage types.

The reason is supply and demand. Usually manufacturers do the 4 damage types while the buyers won't buy the same amount of each damage type but rather the EM is more popular against shield tankers. While thermal ammunition is usually the cheapest, because no one buys it in large quantities.
