G.E.A.R. DUST 514 Corporation Looking for Alliance

More active on DUST 514 than EVE for now (100+ players) But Directors and myself are long time EVE players (since 2006-07) with skills for most things on various characters, we are also offering 50/50 split of PLEX reward to all DUST players who sign up for 21 day trial and upgrade to full account, response has been positive so we are expecting an influx of new EVE pilots who will be backed up with ISK while they learn PVP

We recently joined Gallente Militia, but have yet to make much of an impact, so anyone looking for impressive KB statistics please look elsewhere, corporation was founded in 2007 but has mainly been used as a holding corp for my assets and inactive accounts in the past, up until when a group of us returned to the game around the time of Odyssey and when DUST became playable after 1.4 update.

We are willing to submit to fair audit, API etc for the right opportunity, but if you are 100 man alliance please dont act otherwise and start listing over-the-top demands more suited to major players who actually have stuff worth spying on, as we have had bad experiences with these people in the past.

Outside of the game we are quite normal people (mostly

) with jobs and lives etc. mainly English speaking EU / US Timezones, we are active most week nights / weekends and are always willing to pull our weight in Alliance Ops etc.

We also have a few capital ready pilots in our corporation, with the experience to fly them, although our priority for now is building up a subcapital fleet to participate in FW and to back up our DUST operations as the two games integrate further.

What we are looking for

* 0.0 Alliance involved in FW would be ideal for us
* Assistance with PVP training for our new pilots would be great
* Some Carebearing opportunities in 0.0 for our bittervet EVE pilots would also be nice

What strikes me most is the honesty you have and the fact that you are clearly stating your goals and what you are looking for. I hope you'll be kind enough to read through my reply to you fully.

I am the founder and owner of Legacy Rising alliance. I'm not sure if you know us, but I would like to give you a history of the alliance, explain where we are now, and what our goals will be. I'm hoping our goals will work well together.

Earlier this year, I was a Director of ZionTCD and was tasked with finding an alliance for our corporation to join. After researching what was available, I quickly realized that joining an alliance was not in our best interest. So instead, I founded Legacy Rising alliance and recruited some of the biggest and best corps in the game at that time.

As time passed, I learned that there were a lot of big personalies leading those big corporations in a way I hadn't expected. I had to leave the country for 2 weeks for work - when I returned those personalities ignited, and I came home to an alliance that was all but ruined with the exit of those major players. I then faded into the background in Dust, and took the summer off from Eve.

I returned 3 weeks ago, and have started the process of rebuilding the alliance, having learned from my mistakes. I'm looking for smaller corporations now, and am focusing on people who will be solid leaders. So far, I've found 3 corporations who have joined, and have 2 more that should be joining soon. Included in the recruited corps is Bullet Cluster Gaming, the "remnants" of Tritan Industries (if you are familiar with them).

We are pretty bare bones at the moment, but I prefer taking my time this go around. You are welcome to ask me anything about our history if you have any questions, of course.

That said, let me say where we are now. As of today, I am putting together a team of people that can work and play well together - people that know RL comes first, but want to see LRA succeed and "rise from the ashes" as it were. Our short term goals in Eve include building an industrial base to support PvP and PvE, as well as exporing low sec PvP with roams in Molden Heath (more about this later). As we get this foundation in place, our mid term goals include the evenutal full time move of the alliance to low sec, where we can support our Dust members in PC and provide plenty of PvP opportunities to our PvP pilots. And long term, our eventual goal is null sec (either NPC or Sov - that is yet to be determined).

I'm hoping to find some corps that can help us - not just to accomplish our goals, but to help me in molding the goals to fit the player base and set us on a path that allows us to succeed.

That is LRA in a nutshell. I'd love to hear from you if this sounds like something you would be interested in. Please note: you would be the primary wing of LRA in Dust, and I would ask your help in identifying and recruiting other Dust corps moving forward as well, if you were to join with.
