Where are the windows on the SOE ships?

Really, how do people inside see the outside or just gaze at the stars? even the cockpit has no windows!

The ships are gorgeous but without windows they just look wrong!

All the ships in eve have windows, every race, every ship small or big or pirate, they all have an appropriate amount of windows.

Seriously, how can you make a spaceship without any windows? imagine a car without windows, just full metal all around!

Just slap some blue/white windows on the SOE ships, doesn't have to be too many, just a bit to make a cockpit and make look lively.

they run on linux

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

There are windows, just not many of them. Maybe the ship isn't made for stargazing?

If you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all...

No need for windows due to the electronics plugged into your clone. Not to mention looking out through a window while in your pod would be like driving your car at night in the rain without any windshield wipers on it.

there are no windows on the ships, just a couple of lights!

I am not writing this for RP, the ships just look wrong and immersion breaking without windows.

heck even cargo air planes of today have a few windows here and there.

Remember they cloak most of the time so they cant have someone looking inside the window to see them in the shower ;)

Windows are a structural weakness.

Blatant alt posting? In my EVE? It's more likely than you think.

Come on guys, thousands of years in the future, some advanced smartwalls that can become transparent if someone wants it.

Let's have some imagination.

At least we know they won't detect us so easily while in stealth mode.

John Rourke would not get one in that case. (Extra points if you remember the quote)

All those Camera drones which are how we actually see into space. + ship sensors. It's not like Capsuleers can actually get out & walk around and these ships appear designed pretty much for capsuleers.

YES, thank you!

Anyway, many ships lack windows, notably the Amarr ones. Very easily explained, for the above reason, the designers decided to go with plenoptic cameras on the hull and on tiny cam drones, which stream the data back to autostereoscopic displays (most likely lenticular arrays) on the inside of the ship, simulating windows. what's up with all the RP here?

In any case, all the ships in eve have windows, sisters ships should be no different.

Hilarious!

But it is actually true...

Considering the warp system in-game is based upon manipulating space into a bubble around the ship, An alcubierre drive which we are actually try to do in real life, you have to deal with space debris at relativistic speeds.

Windows would basically shatter when an unlucky piece of debris the size of a bottle cap smashes in, and a ship going at speeds past c... will be screwed over. I assume the shields do a majority of mitigating smaller objects but when those go down, your armor is there, which probably shouldn't have windows.
