Hey guys,

I am trying to find a strong enough dps/tank fit that I can solo sansha haven sites in a quick and safe manor. I am using a t1 Apoc fit which can do Sansha Forsaken Hubs solo, but slowly. I don't mind spending some isk, but can't fly marauders quite yet. Here is the apoc fit I've been using, Sansha Gamma L for close range and Imp Navy Microwave L for long range (keeps me cap stable):

I should also note I was looking at the possibility of using a command ship for solo pve so when friends come out with me, I can provide boosts

You can either upgrade to a Apoc Navy Issue or a Nightmare. Navy Apoc is not as expensive as the nightmare and is very similar to your current ship, it just has easier fitting and an extra low for an extra damage mod. Nightmare is far better and can put out really impressive dps, but you need to have good shield tanking skills and is quite expensive.

However you should really get T2 Large Pulses A.S.A.P, usually the only ammo you need is IN Multi and Scorch (and maybe IN Gamma)

I am on the road to t2 pulse lasers, but have to get t2 med rails first for other reasons. I fit an ANI in EFT, do you think this would suffice?

if your previous fit was working tankwise why you need another extra repper?
fit another heat sink

other than that i think the abaddon would be the better choice

Looking forward to fighting your Rail-Tengus again Pirate

Fit looks like a solid beginners-fit, might want to add a Tracking-Computer depending on cour cap-skills, the second rep is probably overkill.
Also, consider to change a CCC for a Discharge Elutration.

Its really all about tracking. If you have a gun that does 1000 dps, but tracks for garbage, vs a gun that does 200 dps but has excellent tracking, generally the weaker gun will do better (your less reliant on luck and/or flying skills). Alot dependent on your flying skills, the angular velocity of the enemy, etc. I'd consider a tracking computer, but I would not sack your cap for it.

I'd increase the tracking to make sure your guns connect consistently at a range you like, then up the damage (this is PVE, faster they die, better off you are). I'd probably fit more tracking, as the jump to T2 guns will be in itself a substantial damage increase).

Other than that, if your tracking and repair stability's good, you should be good to go.

For those who say "More damage", my general logic is "Aint no amount of damage mods going to help if you miss every damn shot".

Yaay!!!!
