Sister of Eve Rescue teams are an idea for extending the salvage Profession and Exploration to create new content / mini game that i had (based on Eve: The Burning Life and Star Trek)

to rescue People in shipwrecks or damaged Stations or to investigate Sleeper stations or an Planets to make archaeological discoveries with a Rescue/Explorer Team in a drone size manned shuttles that are stored in your drone bay
and you could have only one of them in space

shuttle size could be
small 25m3 with 2-3 people crew
medium 75m3 with 5 people crew
large 125m3 with 10 people crew

by rescue People you could have a choice to to let them free in a station (to get some LP and standing (depending on a Faction) , ISK or an random Item (depends who you safe)
or you could just sale them into slavery (only in Amarr possible) to get more ISK (and LP) Twisted
but trading with slaves you could lose some of your security standing and Faction Standing (depends who you sale)

of course to rescue People or to investigate a sleeper/lost station you have to scan the Shipwreck / Station to guide your team
and help them to unlock doors or treasure locks (this could be a Puzzle mini Game maybe like the Hacking mini game but with a time limit maybe)

what do you think Big smile

It crashes pirate lp value completely if you can kill them in high and get paid for them in null.

Maybe not exactly as expressed in OP but I think this idea has great potential. Could make a solo/small group activity for the future exploration stuff that utilizes the walking in stations technology that CCP showed off last fanfest. You could take missions from SoE to probe down a raided station, break your way into the station with salvagers and rescue people, with potential for shootouts, explosions, structures collapsing on your head, scenes of extreme carnage, emotional deaths of poor civilians and sansha husks eating your brains.

I'd say it's a long way to go but CCP has showed us the prototype where they explored a sleeper building with their capsuleer.

EDIT: Now as I look for it I can't really find the video, maybe it wasn't from last year. They showed off some protoype of leaving your ship to walk around inside some building anyway.

Solo Pvper in all areas of space including wormhole space. Check out my youtube channel @ http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCd6M3xV43Af-3E1ds0tTyew/feed for mostly small scale pvp in lowsec/nullsec

I think it'd be cool to develop salvage/rescue idea in the OP. It reminds me of how Marius Falek Grange was rescued in the Empryan Age novel.
