Pilot Dea I must question why you choose to throw in your lot with the likes of Diana Kim? Please go back and re-read what your comrade in arms had to say about anyone who is not Caldari or Amarr. She is a pathological xenophobe who believes in the biological inferiority of those of us born in the Federation or Republic. Do you really wish to be associated with a creature such as Kim who is mocked and reviled even among her own people?

Kim does not represent the interests of the State or its citizens. She is a Provist, loyal only to her Dear Leader, Tibus Heth. She places the glorification of a single man above the good of an entire society and as such (at least from my admittedly limited knowledge of the State) seems to be the exact opposite of a loyal Caldari citizen.

I would advise you not to ally yourself too closely with her.

I wouldn't worry too much about her allegiances, Bella. Isis is entertaining herself.

I wouldn't take into consideration words of such liar and primitive creature as Rella in the first place.

There are so many presumptions and arrogant assertions in this little gem that I am having trouble finding a place to start. Again, the news coming from within the State would make it clear to you that the supposed "underclass" you're referencing have been more than involved in the riots and uprisings against Tibus Heth, including his wanton destruction of vessels containing Kaalakiota employees protesting peacefully. Also, a review of Tibus Heth's history would point out that "peacefully" silencing opposition was never his method of operation.

Furthermore, you are making a grand assumption and affording Tuulinen-haan an extreme disservice by claiming that he considers anyone within the State "meaningless" and you'll be hard-pressed to find anything he's said or done lending credence to this assertion. You may also wish to provide some form of legitimate proof to your claim that Kim-haani is so popular among the "mortals" because this is the third time you've made such a claim without any proof of it, you're beginning to sound more like a starstruck fangirl than anyone with a legitimate leg to stand on in the field of debate.

I remember Tibus's dream. The vast problem of Gallente influence within the State.

I am loyal to that dream. Not Diana Kim or any radical arm of the State.

I find that while Tibus Heth did commit crimes of atrocious scale, of which I do not agree to nor aim to sponsor, and I do not believe he should be put down completely just because of them. The corporate elite have committed far worse in the past.

You also forget all the riots that led to Tibus's first rise to power. The ones recently against him are nothing in comparison.

As for the argument of standings: Neither side of us knows where they truly come from or where. I don't need nor care to prove anything there. Between our beliefs there is a difference in how much either of us think standings reflect the opinion of mortals. While you believe it is just a number, I find it to be something more. Let's leave it at that.

As for the disservice, you're an immortal, and I'm just a foreign Matari that is prized by certain Caldari corporate entities for doing the dirty work.. deal with it.

Eh - if you have any criticisms or feedback of a substantive nature then I welcome them. If you don't, then your opinion is your opinion and I won't demand you cease voicing it if you don't demand I pay special heed to it.

In the meantime, thank you for your service with the State Protectorate - regardless of why you give it.

Well said, I for one still enjoy remembering that as a proud citizen of the Caldari we believe in the benefit of work and reward we are capitalist's to the core and am happy to see members of other societies embracing that simple truth that money is worth the toil, in fact even more so on are front lines.

This is a fair statement, I acknowledge it. I will step off my high horse in admitting you're more than fair here and honoring than what should be in welcoming me here.

If I was toting Brutor-styled dreads, I would tip them to you, sir.

I don't know what else to say.

Meritocracy starts with admitting that we, ourselves, need to improve.

But you're right, I am an immortal. I live a life where, even when I serve my people, I am making a personal choice to do so. Compared to my life a little over a year ago I live in unimaginable, executive level, luxury. I get to make friends with who I like, I get to absorb information from whatever sources I like.

Really, it's not the same, and it could be a valid criticism to say that I am 'playing at being a Citizen', since I could stop at any time and do something else. I choose to believe that there is merit in not doing so, but I suppose my fellow citizens will make that determination.

You're more than just a foreign Matari and my statement was not directed as an insult but merely pointing out that making assumptions about another's motivations and mindset invalidates your argument. You're an intelligent woman, clearly. You have far more to offer than such presumptions.

To clarify, the riots that occurred just before Heth's rise didn't involve orbital bombardments... I would say that calling the recent riots 'nothing' is ill informed at best. I, as many of my Kirjuunen, hold the corporate leaders responsible for where our State went, and where it may go, and Heth is one of those leaders held responsible, judged for their deeds like any other Caldari. While he did achieve laudable things early on, the pretense proved thin once the long term came about, a mask to cover far less noble ideals.

I have lived in the State all my life, and was literally created by it, Miss Dea, so I trust you'll understand if I am dubious about these claims of patriotism by a very recent... Convert, for lack of a better term, until such time as there is some proof that this is more than some passing fancy. This doubt is fostered by data. Your data, which shows jumps between allegiance as often as I change my socks. Data CAN be wrong, but I've always found patterns to be telling.

Should you truly hold the Caldari way dear to your heart, then I welcome you, cautiously, as kirjuun, and look forward to knowing you as such.

Central to that way is the fact that we ALL have something to prove, regardless as to weather we think we do or not. We can always do more, both by word and by deed.
