If you look at the one month plot you will note that each weekend peak has been higher than the last, and each weekday low has been higher than the last.

So no, its not dead, its growing.

I think dust would be a good game if it wasn't developed for ps3. it should be remade completely with an updated graphics engine for ps4, or pc.

Obviously playing shooters on pc is annoying due to the amount of aimbots, and with a game like dust cheating gives corporations an advantage. So its a business decision to employ cheaters to retake systems within dust. I think dust didn't have a big enough effect in the eve universe, factions are primarily a SOLO eve experience, with plex rewards the way they are its usually better to just solo obviously.

I think dust players are hard to communicate with for a new player as well, how do I find these people I want to shoot stuff on the ground, they really didn't communicate in game well with the eve community either from my perspective, also how long can you sit around shooting at a planet, when you could be making isk running a level 4 mission?

It wasn't rewarding enough to the solo player.

I just watched a few minutes of BF4 gameplay...why the **** would anyone play dust instead?

I will bash dust in this thread a little more, why not?

Battlefield 2142 is the best battlefield game of the series, the titan gameplay mode was epic in so many ways, I really wish CCP would have taken some game play mechanics from dice. Hopefully Dice remakes 2142 with the frostbite 3/4 engine.
