Hi,
logged in a moment ago and found my wallet at -4,9 bln. They told me I bought ingame items/currency but I didn't do it. I checked my walletlog and beside bounty payouts there are only small amounts below 100m I send/received from characters on the same account or from my other accounts until the day I bought him. I mean with -4,9bln the game is pretty much over. Think I found the suspicious transactions and yes, this character was involved...but before I bought him. Have filed a petition and mailed the GM yet, is there any other way to speed this up?

No.

In fact, adding more to the queue is more likely to slow it down.

A member of our corp recently had the same problem under the same circumstances, from what i understand you will have to gather evidence to prove your innocence, as in keeping with tradition, the logs show nothing (Just enough to have your Isk removed).

If you can't get said evidence i suggest you go out and grind the Isk back, because you won't get anything back from CCP.

Too bad nobody knows who the f you are. Maybe you should try to have a higher profile in the game... get to know some CCP insiders. That seems to be the way to go atm. Just trying to solve the problem here...

Don't do naughty things. Don't discuss your petitions.

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.

RMT is bad. Selling character to yourself to cover it up is also bad. Discussing petitions is bad.

All of the above is bad. Don't do any of the above....mmkay?

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Seems pretty much impossible, did he get the reomved isk back? Well, going out and grinding them back is close to impossible, too since I can't be sure what crazy stuff happens next.

This is pretty much what all of us are thinking, but as usual, Unsuccessful is either braver or just faster than everyone else.

The story is ongoing, the evidence has been obtained and sent to CCP but we await response

For the CCP to not have noticed that the transactions happened before you bought the character would be pretty sloppy RMT detective work. Perhaps their scripts need a bit of tweaking to automatically take this into account.

Sold Characters should have their transaction/mail/contract history deleted by CCP during the transfer process. What an intel gold mine...

Have you ever sold a character?
You have the option to do this yourself, when the toon is transfered.

If you can afford to buy a character, 4.9 Billion should not be game over, since the character is capable of earning money like that fairly fast, or should easily be.

There's an option to clear transactions?

For those you can do yourself - it shouldn't be optional.

If CCP is going to allow character sales but at the same time remove the ISK from a character after it has been bought, they need to sort out how to do it right.

Either bind characters to their account and disallow sales or figure out how to make selling to yourself for laundering purposes imposable.

As it stands now CCP is doing a great job of losing the type of customers they should be cultivating. The lazy ones that will purchase five or ten GTCs to buy a character.

Not so good from a corporate perspective, in my opinion.

There is no way to speed up petition time about a matter such as this. I suggest you simply wait; it's the best option at this point.
