So, one of my friends ended up bringing his Noctis the other night to salvage for us while we did some level 4 missions together. The salvage he collected when all was said and done was impressive, but he was left with the question of "what exactly can I build with all of this?"

After he searched awhile he discovered a few online resources that were... somewhat... lacking, yes, lacking is a good word for them.

Knowing that my real life profession is that of a Software Engineer he showed me what others had done and I came to the same conclusion as he did, there was a better way to do what he needed to do.

I hacked a little java application together in about 4 hours and showed it to him. He was impressed and said the community might find use for this as well.

This application takes in a .csv file containing the pile of salvage you have, and spits out a .csv file telling you how many of each rig you can make. It also can take into account your Production Efficiency level if you modify a setting.

I hope I am adding the correct link for the download here (first time doing this): https://github.com/Kdotjack9/EveRigCalculator/tree/master/RigBuilder/target

If anybody has any programming experience and wants to actually look at what I did from in the code (or if you find any bugs) this is out on github for everyone to look at (again, I hope I have the correct link): https://github.com/Kdotjack9/EveRigCalculator/tree/master/RigBuilder

As I said before, I hacked this together in about 4 hours over the past two days, so it's a little rough around the edges. It seems to preform pretty well and looks fairly bug-free(knock on wood). Please let me know what you guys think of this.

Hello! Your app is good idea, but it lacks convenience. Also I don`t know, how to save in *.csv format with my 2010 office. It says it cant save file with commas, so I had to find online calc. Besides that I couldn`t find where to modify setting to take in account my Production Efficiency level and wastage factor of the blueprint. And this app doesn`t know about t2 rigs.
So that`s what i found so far, hope this feedback will help

https://www.fuzzwork.co.uk/salvage/salvageform.php

Though it won't give you a list of 'make this, then this, then this' just 'you could make this. or this, or that'

It'll take a C&P direct from Eve.

Woo! CSM XI!
