Well I am going on my 1st week living in deep null.
I will have to say I am am pleasantly surprised.
My perception of Nullsec was so skewed from these forums and hisec chat.

Yes people do love to pvp yes they like to get kills.
But they are not all these ruthless assholes I assumed them to be. I am sure there are people like this but over all they are helpful and nice.

They joke and kid about me being noob but overall they tend to help albeit somtimes reluctant. Anoms make far more isk than lvl 4s by a long shot. Complexes are challenging and fun.
And I feel much safer through the use of Intel channels comms and just paying attention to local and Intel you almost have to want to get caught.

Hostels come into system fleets go up ultra fast and we are out on a roam to protect our space. Sometimes its over in meer minutes sometimes hours. But then we go back to what we want to do.

If you want to rat and run complexes do it. If you want to pvp roam go ahead. I got in on my first pvp kills a few nights ago. I jumped into what I could field and aford. So I took out a blackbird I got killed because I was a noob. But then my fleet killed 2 tengus 2 talos a curse and a loki.

After we cleared the hostels I went back to ratting. Jump bridges make travel much more easy. The market is just just about as good as any major trade hub.

I am looking forward to the upcoming weeks months or years with these guys. If you are bored of hisec I suggest null . I tried wh space it sucked everyone is paranoid and they just sit in pos bubbles till the bad guys go away. While it was better money it sucked and checking d scan every 2 sec blows..

And I was such a noob I did not know they have stations in null something wh doesn't have.

The true ruthless A-Holes inhabit hisec most of the time, causing tears among the carebears. Most of the stuff out in nullsec happens for one reason or another, like fighting for space and so on. The stuff that happens in nullsec is expected to happen, so not many tears are harvested. So yeah, like I said... the true ruthless A-Holes inhabit hisec.

I was supposed to have warped off when the enemy gang jumped through. I panicked and could not get my warp off. I did save my pod..

Nullsec 101 - Rules
1. Pay Attention to Local and Intel Channels
2. Pay Attention to Local and Intel Channels
3. Pay Attention to Local and Intel Channels
4. If you are in a Large ship, stay aligned

You guys aren't already in Fleets? Most of the time there is a standing fleet with Boosts already running, just need to re-ship for defence :)

Helps to have some decent local traders/JF pilots etc, some locations aren't so lucky.

Yer WHs make you ultra jumpy, if you are thinking about outside your POS Shield, D-Scan, D-Scan and D-scan :)

Jeeez shutuuuup don't go around telling people! We'll be positively flooded with high sec carebears once they realize what a nice place nullsec is....

By the way I am assuming that you are quite a ways from the front lines, otherwise you wouldn't have time to run anoms, most of your play time would be spent sitting on a titan waiting to bridge...

OMG last time I heard that song I didn't understand it yet! It's so awesome to rediscover all the songs I liked as a kid.

For OP: Once you leave highsec for good you can never go back. It feels like playing only one half of a full game.

wut?

They are just 'IMMUNE' to the null 'one trick pony' tactic of shipping up local with thousands of people. They splat pod goo like the rest of EVE when podded.

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

If you can not post with your Null sec character then you have no opinion OP.

Posting with an NPC alt is just lame, really lame.

You get your good pilots and bad pilots just like anywhere else.
