Why does my Providence sit undocked outside a station for close to 20 minutes, trying to warp and warp. It wont warp me to a gate, or let me deliver something. Not just in Jita, but other hubs. Is this normal or just happening to me?

It is probably much more common around trade hubs as other undocking ships lightly bump you out of alignment repeatedly.

Try setting up an instant-undock bookmark several 100km out from the station and then try warping from there.

thanks. I had to undock, then keep aligning myself to a gate. finally let me warp away. I made sure to BM a spot like you said. thanks again.

One certain stations, it's possible for the freighter, being so large, to actually bump the station itself while trying to align. Jita 4-4 heading towards New Caldari is notoriously bad about this.

There are even some (but obviously fewer) station-gate combos that will do the same to an Orca.

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.
