Off-grid booster fits & ideas

Hello

I'd like to build my own OGB (Offgrid booster).

I've heard that the OGB's, particulary T3's are gonna get the nerf bat. Still, if you got a good fit. Don't be afraid to post them
The main thing here should be the command ships tho, They are after all, the command ships...
My OGB would be used in incursions, meaning I'd probably pair it with another one (Fleet, Wing boost) to spread the boosts. In VG one is enough.

Post away!

Off grid boosters dont work anymore. The nerf bat already struck them.

yes, all of them. Although, I don't think the "Off Grid" part is coming til Rubicon (right now it's just that links don't work within a POS bubble, with the exception of Mining Links, because the Rorqual is a special case).

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

I don't know what you're talking about. Off-grid boosters still work as always. You just can't run links within a POS forcefield.

OP: assuming this is for highsec incursions, so being probed down and killed is not an issue. Simply stack co-processors, command processors, and links of your choice. There is really nothing else you need on a dedicated booster.

I haven't read anything definitive yet. Maybe CCP is still evaluating how the "not in a POS" nerf works out.

But yes, CCP is concerned about off-grid boosters and wants to make them less of an "AFK alt" thing.

CCP have stated that they want to force boosters on grid, and that it would be coupled with a further Command Ship rebalance. So far, however, nothing has been announced specifically for Rubicon.
