If your game freezes and you can't quite on a mac. all you have is force quite. if you force quite you log off but not your ship. your ship will vanish like scrap left out in space.. BEWARE THE DEADLY MISTRY VANISHING SHIPS..

one day i'll get my ship back.. lost over 100m ..

People can actually use a pod and steal your ship.. you log off not your ship.. then the ship if left too long vanishes because its just like scrap in space..

you will not get a lost ship report.. you will not get a insurance clam.. you will not get anything..

I call BS. The server doesn't handle a force quit from a mac client any differently than a disconnection or force quit from a windows client. Furthermore, ships left in space do not disappear. People leave them in POSes all the time. I'm not even sure it's possible for the server to log you out and not your ship, as you and your ship are the same entity unless you eject into your pod, and disconnecting would not cause you to eject.

I have no doubt something strange happened to you, but this is not a bug report and you can't be helped here. File a petition and a GM will look into it.
