I am finding depressingly little info available about these "command center" things that were mentioned in the reveal stream for rubicon.

what are they, exactly? just a giant floating cargo container that allows for ship fitting? is that it? do they do anything actually useful, like, say, provide just 1 slot for manufacturing and/or research?

can they reprocess rocks if i have one set up and just run the mining ship back to it instead of back to an outpost? can they do anything that will have a very real impact on high/low-sec living?

in the reveal it's stated that their intent is to reduce player dependence on npc-held stations, but the only thing we're told they can do is.... be an orca with less functionality, that spams you with hate mail whenever a bored system scanner throws a bullet at them.

about 5k hp
50m3 i think
reuseable
48h reinforce timer
45sec activation timer
3k ish cargo space
fitting service
hardish to scan, later meta versions will be harder

basically you can think of it as an orca you can carry with you
wont be much use in HS so probably not much use for you by the look of your carebearish requests
but in low and especially hostile null, it will give you a lot more options as you can carry multiple fits with you and use them as needed

one HS use i thought of was for L4s, you can bring this, the auto looter, some cargo expanders and salvagers with you while doing mission so you can salvage right after or during the mission without reshipping
