As I peruse the threads and WiKi resources, I find several tools to use for working out the cost of producing an item. Any app in particular stand out as being "Noob Industrialist" friendlier than the others? Something to show profit that would be earned? Big smile

i've used DRK Industry Tracker for awhile now and really like the site. it's pretty easy to navigate and has options for reactions and other industry stuff.

I'm old fashioned I guess, as I use an Open Office spreadsheet. Shocked

My younger friends kid me about my mobile phone (GS2) being a "grandpa phone", and tell me I should be messaging because "analog is dead!"

I used a spreadsheet. Until I got annoyed at having to update it and add bits, and so on. Hence, the tool I wrote.

Annoyances drives innovation ;)

ugh ... EVE is spreadsheets in space, and only one person mentioned a spreadsheet.

I'm disappoint with all of you.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

I use spreadsheets for specialised purposes, where the general tools (like IPH which I use all the time) fall short. For example, given x number of BPCs of a list of BPOs, what data cores do I need to buy for invention. I hate running out of things unexpectedly.
