New warp acceleration speed to effect FW tactics?

I see even further use of interceptors and other fast warp ships than before. MIxed gangs might be harder to coordinate (but I don't know the specifics of the changes, just the general stuff I've read)

Someone enters local, you align, dscan shows inty, you warp immediately. Simples. There is a chance that in a short warp an inty may get you between dscans but that's going to be quite a fluke circumstance.

Daytrip pew in a wormhole will be fun. Scan hole down, find pve dude running a site, warp to him and point him before he knows wtf is happening.

Again, not 'that' easy but pretty close to it.

This. Over time I don't think you will see that many more in FW. They are intended as fleet ships. The EAFs may look overpowered in a 1vs1 but if you are flying solo, as is the case with Sentinels when in a turret ship now, as soon as you see one you warp. It will be the same after Rubicon and inties will just be added to the list. Outside of fleet engagements I think people will just avoid them. The same thing happened with Hookbills. At first everyone flew one. Then people realised they were overpowered and wouldn't engage. Now I only see them rarely.

The biggest threat these inties pose is to null sec miners and mission runners. Nullified, capable of entering warp very quickly and then taking seconds to cross systems means you will have very little time to react. I'd be putting the shinies away for a bit as I can see them being used in T3 gangs constantly.

The new warp speeds are a stealth nerf to FW farmers.

The new SOE ships are a stealth buff to FW farmers (at least those with decent skills to fly them. )

So it's a wash out. Perhaps still an advantage to the frig pilots though. Time will tell.

The warp speed effects is also a stealth nerf to slow armor gangs and a slight stealth buff to shield skirmishing gangs.

There might be a renewed interest by some pilots wanting to fly inties but honestly, it's short lived. If you didn't like flying tackle/scout before, you're not gonna like it for winter just because of some buff to a ship class that

a) requires skill and a level of piloting finesse not found in other ship classes
b) requires you to sacrifice some KMs for the sake of the team objective

The warp change will change pvp in general

A lot.

Wont' really stop farmers though since they are cloaky and stabbed.

The new meta is going to be bait battleships backed up by swarms of HVO-rigged logi frigates.

I CANT WAIT!

The problem with eve pvp in a nutshell is: risk adversion and a need to keep KB stats up combined with things that just take too long. Mainly the warps.

I can't wait to come back for rubicon. So much more stuff is gonna die, including my own stuff.. CANNOT WAIT.

Risk adversion sucks, bring on the explosions, and faster/more frequent pvp!

It will push people further into only flying small ships. Right now you can take out a kitey cruiser and have fun getting fights in medium plexes. Swarm of frigates? Align to a celestial and try to pick some off before warping out. When you land align and warp elsewhere - usually entering warp as said swarm lands. That won't be the case after Nov 19. I personally probably will stick to dessies unless I'm in a group.

Also I wonder if the warp speed will effect accelleration gates too.

As per my testing on Sisi, it does. Jumping into a small plex with an interceptor to insta-point what's in there is the new black.

It occurs to me that a griffin can now warp into every engagement with time to spare, suddenly kind of bummed out about warp speed changes
