Codenamed the Red Romeo's, they were an elite black ops unit for the Gallente Federation during the war. Formed to take out high ranking Caldari Officials and essential members of the military. They were efficient, effective, and flawless. None knew they existed and those who did were of the utmost security. In the years following the war a young reporter by the name of Helix Destra uncovered a hidden datafile buried in the military databanks full of mission debriefings. After reading about a multitude of their mission and the way they put their lives on the line so that the Federation could be defended, he felt compelled to write a piece applauding their work. When the piece was published it was on newsreels everywhere and was much applauded by the Gallente public. The Federation, however, denied any association with them so that the fragile peace with the Caldari would remain.In an attempt to hide all evidence pertaining to the Red Romeo’s, they exiled the members to the dark expanses of space.After the exodus, and without support from the Federation, many members were picked off by covert operatives in the Caldari military. In the following months their ranks had almost diminished and enemy agents were closing in on the last stronghold of the Red Romeo's. What happened next is still muttered with horror throughout the known universe.The Covert elements of the Caldari Navy & enemies of the Gallente Federation had create a shadow fleet that was assembling in Ongund, they knew the last of the Red Romeo's had assembled on a secret base somewhere in Rorsins. (At this time there had been a hypergate linking the two systems.) In 3 steller days they were going to wipe these exiled assassins out existence!

// Part Two //

The Red Romeo's knew the attack was coming, agents had given their lives to gather the necessary intel. They were outmatched 10 to 1, with their escape through Thelen being blockaded. They had no choice but to fight. They assembled outside the Ongund gate, waiting to make their last stand, when suddenly an alien ship de-clocked alongside the warp gate. They fired at the ship but the shots seemed to simply pass through the alien vessel and their ship slowly drifted in space unable to engage engines. After an eternity of moments the alien ship send them a broadcast…

"I have followed your bravery, hidden upholders of freedom. After committing yourself to a noble cause you have been expelled with a knife in your back. I honor you by giving this gift of freedom. I am Fanere Voespant, former man that has been transferred to the heavens. I did not die but was born again in a higher existence. Shutter in my power and use this second chance to free the galaxy from the chains of tyrants."

As their ships stayed unable to move they could see the Shadow Fleet warping into the system....

As their ships stayed unable to move they could see the Shadow Fleet warping into the system. But the stars could be seen though the ships, as-though unable to exit the warp bubble completely. They counted 66 ships before the warp-gate started to charge with the Alien vessel within its event horizon. In a moment the Shadow Fleet and Ongund gate had converted to energy and shot directly at the Rorsins sun. The bolt of energy was consumed by the sun creating a level 7 stellar explosion at the impact point, the explosion created a shockwave that enveloped the planet of Rorsins I. What atmosphere the planet once possessed had been blown off leaving only scorched rocky remains. And as quickly as it had begun, their last stand was over…

Upon hearing this news the Thelan blockade fled, fearing the untold power of this Alien Benefactor. The Red Romeo's left Rorsins with a fear of the unknown and a renewed meaning to existence. The following day the Red Romeo’s made a pact to align against tyrants and the corruption of governments, with this the Exiled Assassins were created. They now roam low sec defeating tyrants and explore unknown space in search of this higher existence, and the immense power it controls.
