Your forum tank just collapsed.

Please fix the title of this post, I had no idea what I was coming to see.

This isn't a good idea IMO. It's just going to lead to pay to win. Buy plex, buy SP. Mr.CCP might be looking at this and thinking more revenue, but in reality the number of people quitting when training becomes pointless is going to outweigh any extra plex income.

A possible alternative is the ability to 'swap' skillpoints with other players. for example, someone with 256k sp in marauders can swap their SP with somebody with say, 300k in black ops bs (I have no idea what skill that is). So player 1 ends up with 0 sp in marauders and 256 in blops bs's and player 2 ends up with 44k sp in blops bs and 256sp in marauders.

Ofc SP can only be traded into a skill which both player satisfies all the prerequisites.

I realise it would need refining, but its a better way to do what the OP is suggesting. ISK can't be involved or you end up with a pay-to-win situation.

So, use PLEX to make a character, have them train stuff, and give it to yourself. You could have all the skills in a few month.

Pay-to-Win Infinite Skill Training

No thank you.

Play the game for a few years and you will want them to add skills to the game.

I'm ecstatic about dual (and soon triple) character training. A long-term second character without the second account commitment. It has the benefits that you are looking for with the fairness to older players. There is so much you can do:

Dual train PvP and industry.
Dual train PvE and trading.
Triple train PvP/PvE, industry, and trading.

Make a low SP PvP alt for RvB free-for-all fun.

hahah!

honestly I'm really against pay to win environment, this was merely something that can be improved of course, just like you wont eat plain slice of bread, knowing you have all the other right ingredients to make a very delicious sandwich

It might make more sense if you limited it. For example, if you said that you could take a single skill from your character, pack it into a syringe and sell it to another player then it wouldn't be free skillpoints for whatever you like.

This would have two benefits: people who are upset they have "extra" skill points in skills they don't want could bottle them up for sale and people who want a particular skill could go out and buy it. The skill prices change with supply and demand. Somebody would bottle up Carrier V for instance and that would probably be worth a lot. But if somebody bottled up Industry III you probably wouldn't have many takers.

Then make the syringes (or bottles or whatever you call it) into a player producible item of varying levels (L1, L2, L3, L4 and L5). Instant skill market [re]vitalization.

This, at least, has some potential, but it still is abusable given enough people involved in the market. At some point the missing skills for high-SP characters will come up. Still it's an improvement over the original suggestion.

Training skills is part of the learning curve in eve, to see what skills you really didn't care to train versus the ones you will use. This idea will ruin eve if it were to be brought to the game. I say no.

I think this proposal is a stealth "let me get rid of mining lvl 2 that I trained/injected by accident" thread.

No, it'll never happen. Stop this absurdity now.
