High-Security space provides a historical precident for the Somer Model

Allegation:
Player-Developer collusion is without precedent and destroys the sandbox.

Historical Precident that defeats that premise:
High-Security pace has extensive player-developer collusion, the very existence of CONCORD is the most obvious proof.
There are places where developers directly intercede to keep the game working.

There is also Historical Precedent that defeats the premise in the finacial market:
PLEX are controlled by CCP, developers directly interceded to keep the game working by purchasing and reselling PLEX that exceed the ideal market controls.


The Somer model for making USD out of ISK is solid, verifiable, and is in total compliance with the EULA.


DNSBlack proved there is no unfair collusion as he was able to reproduce the same event:
Partner with a offical reseller of PLEX.
Award a player generated currency in an ratio to extra profit earned on the GTC.
Allow players to apply currency to a raffle.
Transfer the character legally.

As long as the following steps are accomplished your gonna have a good time:
All parties purchase GTCs from a GTC reseller.
All profits are earned by the GTC reseller.
The character or other asset is transfered legally via the bazaar.

The GTC reseller pays a affiliate award to the former owner.

This is the new EVE, adapt or die.

I'd like to see the proof that DNSBlack did this. I know he talked of it in another thread but pictures/video or it didn't happen!

*EDIT* Just saw the post 2 spots up.. Don't see how on the 2nd link that SOMER isn't doing the same thing he did with his stuff but hey.. CCP love SOMER's ****..

Meh, the first link is easily fixed. Just don't tell the thread it was auctioned and conduct a sale as normal.

The second link I do not get... CCP locked the thread after stating it was his own opinion and not official stance. Even AFTER explaining how Somer did exactly what he was saying was against the rules. Somer intentionally offers a bonus for buying their GTC.
