Not stopping your MWD vs the Tornado was definitely a mistake :-) But damn the ungrouping of the guns and super-click the fight to structure at the beginning was neat :-) And your attention to cap vs the navy Brutix, stopping to use the web and one Invul, was very cool to see as well (nice that the vs Gnosis happened at the Sun, adds the dramatic factor).

Also I just watched your previous video now, and it was great :-) The Ishtar and Naga kills were nice. And the fights vs the Ruptures were fantastic!

Well obviously you're learning a lot, and having lots of fun, which is the most important result of this all, to fly free.
Free of (lingering) frustration, the short momentary kind is natural :-) And being free of fear means you don't stop growing.
Further more, other pilots are getting motivated by your videos and give solo a try, which is awesome. Can surely consider that aspect of your videos a success.

I think you've 'made your mark' thus far, if you intended to make a couple videos and get the feel of this whole solo roaming and video making, to inspire a few others to undock and solo a bit... Done. You have a couple options now as I see it :-) You can continue making these videos here and there, as they are all positive flow inside the world of Eve, nothing but good. You can also try to 'collect' now. Between "Hope" and "Redemption" only a month passed. You could 'collect' for a while now, like a few months, say until Rubicon and then a couple months more even, until 2014. Take your time for the next video :-) What I like to do sometimes is make some nice fits in advance, new fits I'd like to try, assemble and spread them throughout various entry systems (can use redfrog too for that if you don't have time to pilot them around), and hold out before making another video.

After 3-4 months you'll have so much fraps you'd have to sort only the best fights to fit into a beautiful 20min+ video, and show some in 400% speed to get things done, the pace of the video will be completely different and it'll feel like a whole new stepping stone. Look at pilots like GonRin, Kovorix or Prometheus Exenthal, many months can pass between videos for them, but once a new one's out, like Prom's new vid just now, it feels like an immediately continuation, because people have been waiting for it :-)

I also recommend to start the video with a Cruiser+ fight, because many people stop watching the moment they see a video starting with a frigate fight and don't stay around to watch what will come next. You can use the best frigate fights as quick intermissions between the bigger hull fights.

Love that you show passive mods, and your drone tab is always open and clearly visible. You could unpin the chat & local windows if you feel a fight coming, its nice for the viewers to get a broader picture of the battlefield.

Inspiring videos. They show how much some pilots love this game, and know its possible to play it in a way that brings you real enjoyment, rather than the grinding into frustration that so many pilots feel 'stuck' in. So keep at it as long as it feels right for you. Don't burn out :-) Taking breaks is totally cool hehe my breaks are longer than my actual play times. Fly Free o/

First of all ty for the epic response:)

- yea mwd on was a big mistake, never fought a nado in a ham drake before so i thought i could get some transversal :))

- he he navy brutix was a nice fight but i always start fraps late , i burned like 50 km so he would burn afther me and burn most of his cap then i engaged, still i was strugeling to have 1& cap left so i keep my point on him, so yea i turned off my invulns and web , glad you caught that :))

- i agree with your i need to 'collect' more videos, i barly got into BC pvp, those were my first times solo in ham drake, much much to learn.

- starting the pvp video with something other than a frigate clip is sadly true, i'll defenetly do that in the future. I like frigate pvp as i started with that , cheap and efective, cruiser pvp openes a lot of options and BC pvp is so powerfull. Isk wise suporting a frigate/cruiser pvp habit is fine , BC pvp is a bit more expensiv as you loose so many vs the new high dps cruiser/ tier 3 BC gangs. On a 2 3 moth timeline it can work. Dont realy think people will "wait" for my videos but i'll make more as i realy like to edit eve videos :))

- i am so caught up when a fight starts, i usualy forget to close chat windows and forget a lot of the times to fraps from the begining:))

- so who knows what the future will bring, it's still my first year in eve so it's keeping me adicted:))

- without all the solo pvp videos out there to learn from, i would have died horribly Lol

- ty again for the great response and you will come back to eve no matter how big of a break you take:)

Best yet.

Some great fights and you got balls of steel to take on 2-3+ out in null. Shame about the ones that got away!

I really liked it that it wasn't just a catalogue of wins but more of a real look at the soloing experience. I'd love to know what CCP Rise thinks of your videos.

Prom made a video called Redemption. I was confused, thought I'd be entering a "check this old prom vid" thread. Not sure if I left disappointed.
