So, I have this idea for a desktop application. I am not asking to help in making it, all I need to know is whether or not something i possible before I start researching the details I need.

Is it possible to use the Eve API to determine whether a character is online based on their watchlist? I know that you can determine whether a character is in your watchlist, but I need to know whether the watch list itself can be effectively made to work outside of the client.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

AFAIK this isn't possible.

Damn, thanks for the response though. I'll leave the thread open in case anyone knows of any convoluted ways of doing it, but I wont get my hopes up.

Unfortunately this is one of many gaps in the API
