WarDec Question... can a corp be in two wars at the same time?

I am trying to work out a corp strategy and couldn't find this question answered on the wiki's. but I am a 3 minute search sort of person and then ask someone smarter than me.

1) If your corporation is already in a War can another different corporation declare war on your corp? If so, how many, what is the limit of concurrent wars one corp can be in?

2) If you are the aggressor, can you just have the war fee automatically PAID from your corp wallet and the war will continue indefinitely?

3) If you are part of an alliance, does that limit the wardec a corp can be in to the number of wars the alliance is in? I.E. If my alliance is in 3 wars, does that mean my corp can not declare war on another corp, because the wardec limit is 3?

Just throwing numbers out there.

I am guessing No to #1 and Yes to #2, but just want confirmation.


1. Yes you can have several wars going. Not sure how many.

2. Yes you can make war bills an auto pay bill.

Now for services rendered, I will take 500mil isk, deposited to this character, for my time and energy. After all, you came to me for being much smarter than you.

thanks guys,,, I did some more research and think the number of concurrent wars is 3, but if someone actually is sure of the answer, please post.

Seems you can be the aggressor in an unlimited number, I'd have to assume you can be the target of just as many.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Umm, an unlimited number seems a bit OP and could cause a bit a sadness to one corp....
Where did you get that number?

never heard of there being a limit to the number of wars, that would be a really silly mechanic as it would allow you to be immune to wars. Want to be immune to wardecs, either be in NPC corp or just dont be in highsec and wars are meaningless

Either in or out, just trying to understand the rules of the game.

Having trouble finding solid information that's all.... but it will come... someone knows!
Some popular EVE sites say CCP changed the rules to limit to 3, but I will just ask support.
i will post them when I get CCP to confirm.

I do believe you can declare 3 but be the defender on unlimited number of wars.

Also any wars involving a corp in an alliance automatically makes the entire alliance in the war. A corp within an alliance cannot ever be in a war separate from the alliance. And if you want to be the aggressor it must be declared at the alliance level.

At least all of this was true last I checked.

Using Marmite as an example here.

They are currently in 70 wars, most of them declared by them from what i can see, with 10 more wars pending.

In simple words, if there is a limit to how many war decs you can have going at the same time its pretty high Lol

Look at alliances like The Marmite Collective and Goonswarm Federation ... it doesn't take much to see there doesn't appear to be a limit to the number you can start, and 3 is not the limit on how many you can be the defender.
