EVE valkyrie to be integrated with EVE online like Dust 514

This just in from the live stream from Vagas. Seems that EVE Valk will be integrated into eve using the same currency.

wonder how they will do it.

Integration != same currency.
2 MMO both using gold as currency aren't integrated into each other.

the guy said it will be in the same universe like dust. though this will be different because both are in space...

just wonder how they can pull off a twitch based game with a point and click game like eve in the same shard...

and FW is directly affected by the dust eve link.

i just wonder if valk will be more you are in teh NPC empires fighting or an actual fighter in a chimera.

i used to be in fw... but i am also watching the stream and apparently a gal fw guy said that some dust fights had a direct impact on taking over some systems last weekend or something...

i dunno...

i just wonder how they plan on integrating valk into eve... what kind of limitations are there... i am a hopeless optimist...

I heard that they are going to do 'angry miners' where we fire mining barges at some gankers that are hiding at the edge of the solar system.

Dumbing down of Eve Online will result in it's destruction...

This is a very good point, +1.
If the amount of effort spent in Dust was put into EVE by now we would have magic stuff. Also they could have put EVE on both PS3 and Xbox possibly. It boils down to quality of leadership both business and technical.

In order for Valkyrie to matter and suceed where Dust doesn't matter and failed, is that the Valkyrie and EVE economies must be integrated. Players need to be able to transfer isk and goods to Valkyrie and also manufacture goods and services to sell to Valkyrie players.

This Dust BS was useless with just buying from the NPCs.
