What's happened since then? I know i have to remake my characters face etc. Apparently i only have 93m SP, is that even a lot anymore? Any interesting new ships or things i should know about? tech 3 or something?

I used to be in RHNVY and Invicta/Cry Havoc. Who are well known for being very good pvp'ers these days whether it be pirates, mercs, 0.0 groups, or whatever? Any information to get me grounded again would be helpful. Thanks!

That was more or less the most emotional thing that's happened in EVE over the last three years.

I took the old isk doubling scam and made a legit game out of- thats new in 3 years!

But the biggest thing that has happened is the rise of the New Order. You can read all about it at www.minerbumping.com

Oh yeah, and Somer Blink is now officially a 100% vouched by CCP honest thing/charity that only exists to help the community.

Well that's helpful. So what about the politics of EVE? Are there bad asses still in this game? who are they and such? I am sure not everything changed, cause while people complain about **** not changing more than anything, they would really hate it if eve changed a lot.

Right before that, the former TEST CEO made a long series of terrible decisions while high that led to losing (gifting?) all their sov to goons. But they meant to do it because faction warfare is more fun. They also still have goons right where they want them

I will tell you what has happened since then...

CCP has screwed the pooch, a couple times.

Goons are now renter lords, but I am still fond of their particular brand of snarky humor, despite CCP forcing them to become what they hated and sought to destroy...BoB.

We broke the login record on the 10th Anniversary, with 70k+ online unique characters.

Harry Forever is this era of EVE's high sec crusader...dismantling the goon empire...one cyno ship at a time.

I can fly a Falcon now. Know you probably don't care...but I doTwisted.

Ships are actually becoming somewhat balanced.

Drone assist is the fleet doctrine of the day.

You can now scan everything down in like 1 minute...instead of fumbling with crappy UI for 2 hours.

FW doesn't suck quite as bad anymore...and it encourages the little guy.

Incursion scene is an elitist sinkhole.

Drone regions are REALLY worthless now...with no more drone poo.

Stuff was nerfed...stuff was added. Tears are abound.

Syndicate is still the wild west.

Curse is still where alliances go to die.

FW is where alliances go to have their last death throes, or rise like a phoenix from the ashes of their hubris.

The last two statements pertain to TEST. From coalition leaders to FW LP junkies in less than a year. A fail-cascade of truly epic proportions.

Essentially, SSDD.

Once you realize what a joke everything is, being the comedian is the only thing that makes sense.

J4LP, is an exception. They still help their AmarrMil buddies, despite being tied to your coalition. Also, they started in FW, and made the move out. Didn't go from coalition leader, to scratching for pennies in the public fountain at the park.

Yeah that was our most popular MO. I'll tell you, the network of intelligence some of those guys had blew my mind about what is possible in this game. It took me a while to find where most of the expensive crap i have is located. Also, it took me about 30 seconds longer than anticipated to figure out how to undock. haha
