A Idea how to Nerf Black Ops / Stealthbomber

Hey, i have a idea because i had atm with my Corp the Following Situation.: We are more as 40 Persons in 0.0 Space, and one guy, a simple Neut loggs in and out with an Black Ops. Mosttimes he is more as 8 or 9 Hours afk, and in this Time its for a 0.0 Corp impossible to Stay this time on Station. When he comes back "whenever" he simply looks for persons who is Mining or Ratting, he flys to him, Covert ops cyno goes up and his friends say "Hello". After this he goes back to a unknown spot and cloaks for the next 8-9 Hours.

My question was how to handle something what canot be seen, what needs only lower as secounds to let other friends jumpin to the system ?

We know everything has a Signature in the Space, Wormholes, Structures, Ships. A Covert ops ship has a Cloaking Device, but what is Cloaking ? Its a Technic to break light, but this dosnt means that the Mass in Space is gone or ?

We must give all others a Chance to find such a Ship. It exist in space, the mass isnt reduced, its there, and nobody can find it. Why we dont bring in some Special Probes who needs a longer time, like 3 or 5 minutes to find such a Ship ? With a Special new Probe launcher if u think ?

The problem is this guy in this system can sleep, ****, go dating and whatever and he needs nothing to do, his cloak is running, we must create something what must push him to move. So my idea sounds now bad for some Specops Pilots, but if we give everyone a chance its okay to say that another fleed needs 3-5 minutes with special probes to find u ? Movement is live, so if a blackops is moving he has good chances to evade the Probes and the scan.

So i want the idea that a Special new sort of Probes and Probelaunchers can find the Mass or energy of Cloaked ships :)

I don't think so. I tried to make sense of his post and i think in this case the cloaked one and his friends are just coming to say hi and OP is sad that they go afk again instead of continuing the conversation. So i think what the OP is requesting is more cloaked people that are not afk and will provide him with a livelier social life.
I could be wrong though.

Find a new system.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Set a trap, I Iost a panther to a bear trap (goons no less, the shame), it's not that hard. Confirming this is another afk cloaker thread.

No, in EVE is just immunity to sensors. It's explained in EVElopedia:

Quote:
Cloaking devices allow a ship to maneuver while remaining completely undetectable by outside sensors [...] Active modules cannot be activated while a cloak is active. Covert Ops, Recon, and certain Transport ships are most commonly fitted with cloaking devices, employing the use of the specialized Covert Ops Cloaking Device II, which allows completely unhindered impulse movement and even warp capability while under the veil, the former two ship types being essential for gathering intel.

HTFU.

The last thing Black Ops needs is a nerf.

Oh look, another AFK cloaking thread.
Turn on your invulns, HTFU and set up traps, or GTFO the place.

so if the afk cloaky right clicks and orbits something he can still pretend he is around?

And you do know the gravitational pull to bend light and alter orbits and other effects mass has in celestial mechanics, relativity, etc requires a lot of mass, right? Even a real deal blackhole takes a long time to prove exists and they have just a bit more mass than a ship.

If this is the mass effect you are keying in on, a stealth bomber is not doing this very much. I could also be a **** and say well then plant the bomber near any celestial body and mask the very very very very small mass effect I make by that of a say planet I am near.

Over a year away, and what do I find...

Christ, it never changes.

Go away, OP.

Just go away.

Star Wars: the Old Republic may not be EVE. But I'll take the sound of dual blaster-pistols over "NURVV CLAOKING NAOW!!!11oneone!!" any day of the week.
