[FIX] Windows 8.1 Crash on Startup

I updated to Windows 8.1 last night, and first tried to play eve now. The launcher works fine, but when the game starts up it never launches ( I can see it launch in the taskbar, but if I click on it nothing happens) and then the game stops responding. It does this regardless of how I start eve or the launcher settings.

It's definitely something with windows 8.1 compatibility since I've played EVE with 0 issues for months.

FIX: Install the newest beta NVIDIA drivers (331)

And it seems there are a few other issues with virus programs also so turn off as much as you can and try starting eve client again.

Hey I've just ran into this, found a solution, so simple, but it works. The only thing you need to do if CCPexefile is failing to start, is to set compatibility back to windows 8.

Updating to the beta 331 NVIDIA drivers fixed it.

Still having issues with skyrim but w/e =/

Confirming that updating the drivers resolves the problems with eve.
