OK so we've been looking for a PvP base. I wanted a C5 with a C3 static. Been chain collapsing for 4 days. All the C5 C3s seem occupied.

Until now.

Found a C5 C3 but its a Black Hole.

We need the C5 to fund the PvP.

We want to run escalations in the C5 using a archon, moros and loki.

From what I can see we're only going to be gimped by the fall off. The loki still webs at full range?

It's just the Moros DPS will be less , but we're in no rush?

Also, if we do the Warp to 0 method, then we're blapping at close range anyway?

Talk to me, this WH closes soon! :D

Scanning alt. Inside wormhole. Place.

I used to be called 'Sturmabteilung' but CCP said it was offensive.

If you are funding your corp with your home, you are mistaken. Do your static.

Bob Artis, you will be missed.

This is not true for small gang PVP corps in C5s.

Can anyone actually tell us why black hole escalations are that much more difficult? If it is just gimped DPS then how much longer do they take?

Will probably take more time aligning capitals in and out of the sites than actually running them (even webbing them into warp) - slightly being flippant but not entirely.

When you're only two unique people, wouldn't necessarily run escalations (personally), as you're multiboxing already and even if they were to take a long time to find you, sieging down and warping out will take long enough to justify calling it a coffee break.

Also, since you're normally shooting sleepers at quite some range (surely beyond 30 most of the time) using stuff like thorium or lead just to reach out to them is very painful.

I believe revs don't care for BH effects though, but doubt they can keep up with the moros' dps under even those conditions.

Just take a real wormhole <.<

Optimal range is nerfed as wel in Black Holes.. I noticed this the other day when I saw my Navy Omen's optimal cut from 37km to 24km.

If you use dread warp ins and avoid the ones where its difficult to create these (Oruze for example) There is little difference if you have dedicated webbers. The problem you'll run into is they'll get out into orbit at 33km or so and your range is so nerfed you might have to use a crappier ammo or swap one of your Tracking computers to an optimal range script (this is all speaking for a Moros). The biggest thing to be cautious of is the align times, because you're looking at nearly a full minute to align without webs (57 seconds). Your guns will drop to 10.6km + 28.1km with all 5 skills in a C5 blackhole if you're running a single tracking computer as optimal + tracking enhancer, so it's not too horrible. Just make sure you've got webbers if your guys aren't T2 siege already. If you're T2 siege, you may be able to kill each wave before they get out into orbit range using dread warp ins. The biggest reasons to avoid black holes are for the PVP reasons; you can usually skirt around the PVE reasons with creative fits.

Personally, if the people I was flying with weren't capable of evicting a bear-corp on their own, I'd save up as much isk as possible and ask one of the bigger wormhole alliances to burn the inhabitants out of the system for you. Some would accept your request just for the simple chance of burning a POS full of loot, but that isk you saved is an incentive for when they are disappointed with the spoils.

Again, that's my opinion, because I wouldn't even put up with living in a black hole system.

CCP ignore me please, I make too much sense.
