any news on the pos siphon ?

Be interesting to see if any of these "structures" requires some sort of "fuel" to make them operate/function or if it will be effortless and "as if by magic" technology...

One stat I have seen is the depot. It's 50 m³ in size in your cargo. After anchoring it has a cargo of 1.000 m³. No fuel required as far as I know.

My opinion is that they should "siphon" whatever fuel they need.

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.

Will this just be covering the siphon module or will it include the refit and other deployables too?

Be interesting all the same to see where the "risk versus reward" equation starts on this little gizmo... which at the very least means they shouldn't be dirt cheap to build given their hypothetical potential.

Should be hilarious fun, though. Not as much fun as the early days of Orca heists, but we can hope. Twisted

I really don't understand what service this new new order would be offering?
The new order keeps high sec relatively clear of bots, bot aspirants, makes mining more profitable for smart non afk miners, provides markets for people that make catalysts and mining barges. they also provide fun for the agents and make miners lives momentarily less dull.
For all these services they charge a very low fee and survive on donations. about 130 bill of donations so far.
I fail to see what service the organisation you propose offers anyone apart from the jealous and the butthurt.

Most isk doublers just spam Jita and are annoying.
a few (and i have only met one) are like the person you are quoting.
These people/person also provide EVE with valuable services.
I have never seen Erotica spamming local.
I have seen Erotica donating huge sums to good causes.
I have seen Erotica organising large fleets from Jita to try and safe TEST.
I have seen Erotica providing a fun game that many people enjoy.
It has always been as advertised and rewards the smart and punishes the stupid and the greedy.
none of her game happens behind closed doors but in a chat channel full of well known eve personalities and often ends in lively TS chats and sometimes people singing.
Erotica has been one of the content providers i have enjoyed most in eve and i resent the slurs implied by your post.

I now look forward to accusations of being her alt which anyone with any ability to research people in eve will instantly see are ludicrous.

Siphoning miners while they mine? So if they're alone, they can just take out of the siphon while being siphoned? A siphon siphoning from a siphon siphoning a miner who is taking his minerals back from a siphon that is siphoning from the siphon that was siphoning....

The idea of a really long chain of siphons sounds fun. Your idea of giving miners free cargo space when they're alone doesn't.

My impression was that this was for silos only. If not, I guess I'll have to get my corpmates to invest in tons of industrials to store things in. Store everything in the Industrials, store Industrials in SMA, etc.

Then again, if I find a completely offline corp (or apparently offline) in my static, this would be a good way to steal materials. Also a good way to take the K-space express, I'm sure. :D
