i randomly found your article and saw you touched on the log-in trap issue I wrote about on the forums.

If you want to dive deeper into the subject i'd gladly do an interview with you at some point! Nice thing you have going here, the layout is nice and we need more people diving into the ins and out of industry in EVE.... Better explanation of how to do x and y is always needed!

Hey thanks for reaching out!. I thought that was a great post and it shows the true cut of EVE. There is no clear answer, which makes EVE one of the most frustratingly rewarding games.

You gave me a great idea of doing interviews. I would love to do something like that.

Good day all.

I have had a bunch of people reach out to me about joining FDA Shipwrights. Until further notice, FDA is an invite only corporation due to external issues. I would like to let everyone know, the parent corp, the Invictus Meneo Squadron is currently open to recruits looking to do PVE/PVP/Industrial activities.

You can thank CCP and their $hitty wardec mechanics. Allowing someone to auto pay a war dec bill by a 2 member corp in which neither member logs in except to add money to the account. Thanks CCP.

Another good read and I am a fan of the new layout. It does take a while to load in dropbox though. Interviews would be a worthwhile addition, although I would vote to have them Industry focused. But that's just me.

Once more, I enjoyed reading this edition.

I do feel that two of the articles (incursions and log-off) weren't that relevant to an industrialist. However, as a noob in all aspects of the game, I still learnt stuff from that, so it is only mild criticism P

I'm still waiting for a beginners guide to being an industrialist Blink, its something that I am working out by myself currently so good tips are always welcome. Something along the lines of useful skills and what they do and which you need to train to do certain aspects.

Also, a basic overview of the types of industry that you can get involved in ie.
mining- ore, gas and ice.
PI mining and manufacturing,
manufacturing- t1 and t2 and t3 ships/ items,
research- improving bpo, copying bpo, researching t2/t3 bp,
salvaging,
hauling,
agents- distribution, mining, research
importance of corp standings- for refining, taxes etc
markets/ trade- an area i currently know nothing about but stuff like identifying best places to sell, how to buy and sell for profit and other stuff i don't know about
pos- how to set up and best way of having it run
is it better to buy or obtain yourself the useful things for an industrialist- ores, minerals, the stuff you need for t2 invention etc
industrial leadership- setting up mining ops, being ceo of industrial corp etc

Where's the October issue??! OMG!! Where is it?! I'm freakin' out man!

:) I suppose I really like the publication. There's only been two things I look forward to lately, one being new issues of this and the other being ISK the guide #2 (which is overdue by the way).

Just a reminder. I have also sent out an update via the mailing list which I will note here:

Just an update for you loyal followers. RL has been pretty busy, but I have all the articles ready to go. I just need to put them into the newletter layout. My typesetter has gone MIA, so I will probably have to roll the issue myself. I expect to get it out by no later then the 3rd week of October (about a week later than I had hoped).

I will keep you guys in the loop.
